After their marriage they went to Paris for honeymoon, things were pretty great between them. Taehyung found jungkook too adorable and cute , he accepted him as his life partner leaving his past behind . He would cherish the time they spend together.
Jungkook was everything a person wants in his partner. He was beautiful, educated, classy . With time taehyung started caring from him more and more . But deep inside his heart he felt empty, he didn't loved him atleast this is what he thought.
Once in a while , in the darkness of night his mind would take him back towards what could have been if he married the love of his life instead of jungkook. He would often shrug these thoughts off.
It's been one year of their marriage and to say jungkook was happy and ecstatic would be understatement.
He was loved by everyone in the house for his loving nature. He was the favourite uncle of jin's son. He will always stay closer to his kookie uncle sometimes even ignoring his own parents.
Jungkook was preparing a surprise gift for his husband. After a family dinner they all went to their rooms. When taehyung entered in their room it was decorated beautifully. In the middle of the room was kept a small box wrapped in purple paper .
He picked the box and glanced towards his husband who was failing miserably in hiding his excitement.
He opened the box their were two simple platinum bands, but what makes it unique was the engraving.
Jungkook took one of the ring where "koo's taetae" was engraved and slided it on taehyung's finger. Taehyung copied the gesture and kissed him to show he liked the gift ..
"Happy 1st anniversary hubby, I love you so much." Jungkook gave a wet smooch on his husband's lips who giggled as response.
He picked his husband in princess carry and went towards the bed , for next three hours , taehyung devoured his husband's body like a meal.
In the dark night taehyung was lost in slumber while hugging his husband, he failed to notice the tears that were streaming down from jungkook's eyes.
" He didn't said I love you , even today." Yes, jungkook knew that taehyung doesn't love him. It was not the first time they had s*x . They have got intimate more than jungkook could recount.
However, whenever jungkook said i love you to his husband , he got met with a silence as a response.
For outsiders they were a perfect couple, always touching and teasing each other. But inside their relation was not perfect .
whenever jungkook tried to communicate his insecurities with taehyung he would just let it slide or just don't pay attention to him.
"Why can't you love me. Am I not enough.."
In times like this his mind would conjour up all the negatives and weighs his confidence down. He was slowly becoming the shell of a person he once was before his marriage.
