-----------------------------------------------------------Flipping my pancakes patiently, I rubbed the tiredness out my eyes and streched, the joints in my bones making a cracking sound.
After awakening from my slumber, I had reluctantly dragged myself out of bed and brushed my teeth. The cool air on my face left me awake and ready for the day until I realised it was a saturday. One of the only days I got off work, wednesday being the other.
Sighing in relief and prepared to laze around all day, I plated my food and made my way to my small couch and tv. The sun had already risen as I had woken up at 2:00 and currently it was 2:20.
The reason i wake up so late is because occasionally, I struggle to sleep early and therefore have to sleep into the day. Pills help but I havent been out recently due to the overpiling work hours.
I seriously need to get some fresh air.
Drowning out the buzzing sound of my tv, I slowly ate my pancakes up to the last morsel and made my way back into the kitchen.
I had barely any ingredients so I decided to head out and get stocked up for the week. Dragging myself up the stairs, I mustered up the excitement to finally have some time to myself.
After I had put on my clothes, I grabbed both my house and car keys and got inside my car, peacefully driving off...
I rolled down the windows and let the fresh breeze graze my skin and as if in awe, the traffic quickly sorted itself out and gave me a clear path to my supermarket.
Rather efficiently I had found a free parking spot and gleefully jumped out.
Its not everyday this popular supermarket was empty!
And as if on cue, my joyfulness was rewarded with a big red sign that read
"BIIIIGGG SALE!! EVERYTHING HALF PRICE!!"
I quickly made my way into the store and picked out all the ingridients i mainly needed:cheese, eggs, milk, spice and meat.
Just as I was picking out what meat to choose from, I felt an uncomfortable, sharp gaze taunt me. I whipped my head from side to side only to find the same yellow hoodie man!
He eerily stared back at me and I grimaced at him, evidently showing my annoyance at his re-appearing 'face'.
I couldn't see his face as it was covered by his hoodie and I didnt waste anytime, I snatched up the tender chicken and placed it into my basket whilst putting on a brave face and hurridely striding away.
I couldn't let him know he creeped me out.
Making my way to the till, I gave a kind smile to the bored looking man.
As soon as his eyes met mine, he gave a creepy smile that stunned me, what was up with him??I placed all my items on the cashier till and read his name tag, his name was 'Dylan' which suited his stiff face.
I grabbed at my pockets only to realise...
I FORGOT MY MONEY!!!
Sweating nervously, I faced the embarrassment I would have to face and awkwardly looked at the man.
"Haha it seems i forgot my money!" I said in a fake cheery tone, this was possibly one of the most embarrassing days of my life.
Just as I was about to add on an apology and make my great escape, it seemed the cashier had other plans in mind as he leaned forward, invading my personal space, to whisper into my ear.
