(Proxies POV)Silence.
With their heads lowered, none chose to speak. Whether that was in fear of the consequences or of the shame of letting a vulnerable girl escape.
The bulkier one out of the three pushed open the door as the other two followed obediently,in silent understanding.
They all knew that some sort of vicious punishment awaited them.
"Look upon me,children."
The menacing 'voice' pierced the thick tension in the air which seemed to naturally emit from the omniscient being.
Its mere aura caused the two men to shudder and glance up quickly, the leader of the three indifferently obeying the entitys command.
He knew that he would receive the most punishment as he, unfortunately, had the most leadership skills and so was in charge.
"You have failed me. How could you have let her get away?"
The being asked, as if it wasn't already aware of what had happened.
"She caught us off guard and escaped. She'll come back though, we still have her friend after all."
Replied the leader, his voice firm and face stoic-if the operator sensed fear, it would have preyed on it
"Masky... If you fail me once more, you will pay with your life"
It snarled in aggravation and emmited a high pitched screech that led the two henchmen to bow.
Being a leader meant he had the power to resist the entity's attacks and although he felt his legs buckle underneath him, he remained erect.
Goosebumps scattered across his skin lile stars and he reluctantly accepted the familiar, uncomfortable feeling that enveloped him in a slumber.

"Fu-Fuuuckk"
rasped a drowsy voice, triggering a chain reaction:the yellow hooded man clutched his head and looked around. The ticking man seemed to do the same as he glanced at the forest clearing, and they both sighed in relief.
They had been let off easy.
A soft thud was hit against the masked man as he grumbled in response and slowly looked up in annoyance until the savoury waft of fresh food hit him.
"Eat and regain your energy. She hasn't gone far, the car broke down and her footprints go back to the forest."
Their once obnoxious leader croaked out and almost immediately it clicked.
He had taken the blame for them and got their collective punishment.
The two men experienced no major pain, excluding the pounding headache but that was miniscule compared to the bruises and claw marks left on the beefy man.
"Thanks." Both men replied in unision, grateful not only for the food but also at their leaders selfless actions.
A sombre atmosphere suffocated them all into silence, disrupted by the chomping of the two men who angrily bit at their meal.
They were going to catch that sneaky bitch and make her pay.
