Thelma Houston's voice flowed through the empty outhouse as the three teens waited for Sheila to take the bait.

Nick had forged a note in his brother's handwriting to bring Sheila to the outhouse, while Artemis and Ziggy had laid out the petals of some flowers that led to their trapped stall.

Ziggy, Artemis, and Nick crammed themselves into the stall beside Sheilas, the rope that would release the bucket dangled in front of them as they waited.

Ziggy stood in front of the stalls door while Artemis and Nick awkwardly shared the bench, she was practically on his lap as she didn't want to touch the walls surrounding them. Nick held her hips, blushing red as he attempted to calm his thoughts.

The creaking of the outhouse door caused the three to hold their breaths, though they doubted it would be noticed over the music.

"Will! This is too cute." Sheila fawned, following the flower path. "We could have done it in your bunk, but I guess this is kind of hot."

The three had to stop themselves from vomiting in digust as they listened to the stall doors open.

"Now?" Nick whispered to the two.

Nodding furiously, Ziggy quickly gripped onto the rope, ripping it down and releasing the contents of the bucket onto Sheila.

Just as she began to scream the three quickly ran out of the stall, Ziggy being the first out with Artemis close behind.

Nick on the other hand stayed behind for just a second, enough time to place a screwdriver in the makeshift lock, blocking it so that Sheila wouldn't be able to unlock it from the inside. Before quickly catching up with the two girls, his hand quickly intertwining with Artemis. And this time, she didn't brush him off.

The three continued to hide out in the Science and Nature cabin as Ziggy and Nick were laughing together, not bickering.

Nick was comfortably that he could hold her hand without feeling scared to make a move. They were teenagers, acting like teenagers and it felt good.

"Did you hear her?" Ziggy grinned at the two as Nick locked the door behind them. "She sounded like a frog." Ziggy giggled before mocking Sheila's scream.

"What did I tell ya?" Nick challenged at Ziggy as the three walked towards the back of the cabin.

"Fuck paint." Ziggy conceded. "Fuck paint." Nick mimicked with a grin.

Ziggy came to stop, shaking her head a little at the counselor. "Who are you?" Ziggy felt like she was wrong to have judged him so much all summer without knowing him first.

Artemis sat on the chair watching the exchange with a smile.

"Nick Goode." He grinned, holding out his hand for her to shake. "Nice to meet you."

Ziggy rolled her eyes as she shook his hand.

Nick couldn't help but smile to himself, his hand lightly tracing back down Artemis's arm and towards her hand.
