Artemis's eyes darkened, as she held Ziggy in her arms, comforting her as she silently placed a protection spell on her. Nick quickly joined the two campers as he locked the doors and turned the lights off, hiding behind the table as well, shaking.

"Did we lose him?" Artemis whispered as Nick peered over the table, looking out of the window for any shadow movements.

"I think so. Are you OK? Are you hurt?" Nick turned to face Artemis and Ziggy, now taking notice of the blood that stained their clothes and splattered across their faces.

"It's not our blood. It's Gary's." Artemis answered, unfazed while Nick gently pushed her hair away from her face, eyes roaming to make sure she wasn't harmed.

"And your's?" Ziggy's eyes stayed glued on Nick's bloodied shirt.

Two bloody hand-prints stained the once pristine white shirt. "It's um... Sean, Jesse, Rod, Stacey..." Nick answered quietly. All the names of campers. The names of Shadyside Campers. That was the only thought on Ziggy's mind now.

"It's the curse." Ziggy whispered to Artemis.

"No, it's uh, it's just some psycho." Nick refused to acknowledge the curse.

"No, no, it's not just some psycho. It's Tommy. My sister's annoyingly perfect, kind, boring boyfriend Tommy." Ziggy refused to accept the idea that nice and kind Tommy would do something like this.

Artemis glared at Nick, 'My Grandfather, he's annoying.'

"Someone's coming." She whispered, eyes darting towards the windows for any movements outside.

Ziggy and Nick froze, silent as they shook in fear, unable to stop as they tried to calm down. The beating of their hearts loudly echoed throughout their head as they waited for something to happen.

Artemis felt them flinch as the doors creaked slowly open, it was agonizing waiting for the creaking to stop until they heard the thud of footsteps stepping into the cabin. They all held their breaths as they carefully listened to the sound of Tommy's footsteps as he slowly approached them.

Just before he reached their table, Tommy paused for a moment, a sound from outside distracting him long enough for the three to quickly move to the other side of the room.

He peered down at the floor where they had just been hiding and let out a frustrated grunt, swinging the handle of his axe down onto one of the glass cages, releasing the snake that had rested inside.

The sound of the glass shattering onto the floor made Ziggy's breath hitch in her throat before the sound of hissing reached her ears.

Lightly tugging on Artemis's hand, the two watched as the snake slowly slithered towards them, its head raised slightly as it got closer. Artemis slowly placed her hand over Ziggy's mouth as she went to let out a shaky breath, shaking her head at the girl as the snake moved onto her lap.

Slowly removing her hand, Artemis listened closely for any sudden noise within the cabin.

The sound of glass crunching under Tommy's heavy feet was the last thing she heard before a hand latched onto the top of Ziggy's head, pulling her up from the hiding spot on the ground by her hair.

Ziggy let out a sharp scream as Tommy slammed her back onto the table she had been hiding behind.

"ZIGGY!" Artemis yelled as she watched Tommy pull Ziggy down the table still clutching tightly onto her hair before throwing her onto the hard ground. Before she could even move to help Ziggy, Nick quickly pushed her behind him as he watched Tommy cautiously as he lifted an axe in the air.

Ziggy closed her eyes as he swung the axe down, the pain she was expecting didn't come as she waited for her death. Hearing a loud crash, Ziggy slowly opened her eyes and there stood Artemis leaning over Tommy's body which laid unconscious on the floor, holding a wooden bat that was used to knock him out.

"Get up right now Ziggy." Ushered Artemis, dropping the bat as she quickly backed them away, nearing the door. As they were about to leave the cabin, Tommy grunted and slowly stood up with the axe gripped tightly in his hands.

Everyone froze as they waited for any movements.

"NO!" Nick launched himself in front of Tommy, pushing the girls away from the axe. The blade lodged itself into the back of Nick's leg, causing the counsellor to grit his teeth in pain.

"Go! Run." Nick yelled at the two girls. "Go!" Nick yelled again as Tommy pulled the blade out of his leg.

The two ran out of the Science & Nature cabin as Ziggy leaded the way to the camp entrance in hopes of stopping the bus before it could leave them behind
