I had just finished singing one of my favorite songs and I sat down with Ethan at our table, our food had just arrived. He started telling me about how great the lacrosse team would be this year, and I was interested, I was, but I was a little worn out after an awkward discussion about my dad, thank God Ethan didn't ask how he died. Two hours have passed then he pulled me back to his car. He said he had something else planned. I hate how he wouldn't tell me what we were doing!... It was kind of cute though. He drove up to a cliff over looking the ocean, major perk of living in California. He ran over to my side of the car and helped me out. I walked over to the edge of the cliff and looked at the crashing waves. I turned around and Ethan had spread a blanket out, God he's so cliché.
We were sitting there in silence for what felt like an hour. Then all of a sudden I noticed he kept staring at me. "What?" I giggled.
"Nothing you're just, you're gorgeous," he told me. I blushed. The sun was just setting, he slowly pulled me into him, and kissed me! I mean it wasn't like in the books or movies, but it was good, really good.
