The door opened to a tall guy with a cowboy hat. His eyes were a piercing grey, and his dirty blonde hair was peaking out of his cowboy hat.
"Hello miss can I help you with somethin'?" His southern accent was intriguing.
"Yea um I'm Carla's niece," I said quietly.
"I told you to stay 10 feet away from my niece ya hear me boy?" I heard aunt Carla's voice somewhere inside.
"Yes ma'am, I understand." He laughed and welcomed me inside.
"Hey darlin' how was your drive?"
"Long.." I laughed, looking back at my luggage, still in my truck.
"Here miss let me help you..." The guy said as he ran outside and brought in my luggage, "I'm Colton," he smiled.
"Samantha," I smiled back.
"Colton was just about to go to the grocery for some milk, why don't you join Phil and I in a game of Texas hold 'em," aunt Clara waved me over.
"I've never played before.."
"Don't worry 'bout it, Phil's a cheat anyways," I awkwardly laughed and sat down.
I didn't know aunt Clara that well, the last time I saw her was at my dads funeral a couple years ago. She was with other family most of the time so I didn't see much of her anyways. The only time I've actually had a conversation with her was when my family and I came to visit almost 10 years ago.
