After an hour of her father's "discipline" the blonde teen finally went up to her room with cuts, bruises, and tears stains all over her body. She got a towel and took a shower to clean off. She knew her father would be passed out by now due to how many beers he was drinking, so she'd be safe for now.
After her shower, she changed into pajamas and was about to go into her bed when she heard a knock at her window.
"Robin?" She said after she got up and opened her window after she saw him outside in the rain.
"Hey preciosa" He said smiling as he stepped into her room, but his face dripping when he noticed the damage done on her.
"Jayj..." Robin started off solemnly, but was cut off by JJ.
"I'm fine robin, I promise. I've gotten used to it by now." She said with a sad smile.
Although she tried reassuring him, her statement just made him sadder, but he came here for a reason.
"What are you doing here?" She said worriedly, although she didn't know why.
Her lights were dimmed and the only other light source was the candle in the corner of her room.
"I came here to see you..." He started as he began fidgeting with his fingers.
She took his hands gently, and asked him "Robin what's going on"
"I gotta get something off my chest jayj" He said quickly and after the horrible night she had already had, she wasn't ready for anything bad to happen.
"Please just tell me" She begged as she couldn't take the overbearing feeling that she did something wrong.
"Did I do something wrong?" She asks hopelessly as her mind ran of endless possibilities.
"No! no, never. Jayj..." He said quietly, as he stopped himself again wanting to tell her so bad.
But he couldn't tell her, so instead he showed her.
Their lips connected slowly and softly, as she immediately melted into the kiss.
If there was one person Jennifer Jones was soft with, it was Robin.
After a few seconds, they finally pulled apart.
"Robin..." She started, but she just couldn't find the words to say anything.
"Was that alright?" He asked wanting to make sure that this could work, so they could work.
"mhm" She hummed in response as she kissed him softly again.
"You can't stay any longer though... If my father wakes up and finds us here you and me will both be dead." She whispered quietly.
"That's alright Jayj... I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" He told her softly.
"Yeah, Yeah that's perfect" She said quietly before he left through her window again, leaving her smiling to herself.
