Avana's Pov

*Adina and I got down from Alvin's car and walked into Lucas' house not waiting for Alvin to park his car into Mrs Rodriguez underground garage.*

"Hey girlies!" Jake yelled at Adina and I as he walked out of the kitchen with a sugar coated jam donut in his hand

"Hii!" Adina and I replied

"Ooh~ I want that!" Adina rushed into the Rodriguez kitchen

"Well..I'm more interested in the dance formal outfits, are they ready?" I ask Jake who was busy trying to eat every part of his donut except for where the jam was

'Keeping the best for the last bite' I thought to myself

"Yeah!...wait no, I don't know. Lucas mom has been in her office for a while now." Jake replied trying to lick off the sugar on his lips

"Ugh! that means it's not ready yet..." I whispered as I ascended the stairs

"It is! Welcome darlings!" Mrs Rodriguez walked out of her office with her hair in a messy bun and a tape measure around her neck

"Ha!" I gasped

"It's really ready?" I asked excitedly

"Yesss it is! and it's so beautiful! I'm jelly!" Lucas eyes sparkled as he walked out of his mom's home office

"What you weren't supposed to see it yet..." Mrs Rodriguez pouted

"I didn't see it see it...I only poked my head into your office." Lucas gave his mom a little side hug

"Ok then, are you and Lee ready to see your outfits?" Mrs Rodriguez raised her eyebrows excitedly

"Lee hasn't arrived, she'll be here in a few minutes." I replied

"Oh okay, let's go eat some donuts... before Jake eats it all up." Mrs Rodriguez chuckled at Jake who's lips was filled with sugar

"What! No! I've only had...four!" Jake took another bite out of his donuts

"We know love, we can see the proff on your lips." Lucas said as he pulled Jake closer to him and kissed his sugar coated lips

"Ok, get a room you two." Mrs Rodriguez rolled her eyes and walked down the stairs

"Hahaha" We all laughed and walked down the stairs with her

'I was excited to see the outfits but I was also nervous, what if it was bad...I won't be able to tell Mrs Rodriguez I didn't like it..
but her designs are very good so it should be good.' I silently hoped for the best

"Hey people!" Lee walked into the kitchen with her helmet under her arm

*I had some fear instilled in me anytime she rode her power bike, the accident still hunts me slightly, but she promised every single one of us to always gear up before she rode her bike.*

"Hi babyy!" I got off my seat and walked towards her to give her a hug and a kiss

"Hello beautiful!" Lee whispered as she pulled me into herself for a tighter hug

"You okay baby?" Lee asked as she kissed my neck

"Yeah...I'm good, I'm just nervous about the clothes." I said

"You haven't seen it yet?" She asked surprised

"Yes, I Want to see it with you by my side." I looked up at her pretty sparkling eyes

*The way she looked at me made my stomach spin, in a good way.*

"Let's go check it out." I said as I hide my blush by looking at my chrome hearts nike air forces
