"I asked where her mum was."
- Not her. "I asked him where his mum was, - and he didn't know."
- Good girl, that's great, Debs." Steve reassured her
"I looked round. I couldn't see any adults. He was upset. So I gave him some chocolate, which he liked."
"Good!" Fiona says smiling
— Steve's voiceover talking to Debbie explaining to her on the map "You turned left, out of David's Lane, heading for the park."
Carl inside the phone booth reading the script Ian haf wrote to him "Past Beaker Street, into David's Lane"
- 'When was this?' guy on the other side of the phone
"10 minutes, back when I saw him. - 10 minutes back. When I saw him, I thought, — hey Isn't that the kid they're looking for? —
"Definitely Captain Curtis?'"
I didn't say Captain Curtis, I said cape -" Carl speaking through the phone nervously trying to keep himself from screwing up
'Sorry, go on.'
'He was with a girl" Carl said
'Can you describe her?' guy asked through the phone

"Then you went to a phone box at Bristol Grove." Steve said to Debbie
"I went to a phone box on Bristol Grove." Repeating Steve's words "I thought, "I'd best phone the police. - Or somebody. - That one was vandalised.
Kodi Ball in the phone booth banging the phone with all she has, breaking it.. Lip' outside' slightly amused, opens the door slightly lifting her up, Kodi throwing the phone to the phone box, running with Lip' still having a hold of her laughing

IN THE KITCHEN STEVE WALKS INTO THE KITCHEN... "I'll see you round Sheila's in half an hour, all right?" He turns to Lip'"Lip, can you stick the kids in the car, please?" Lip' catches the keys
" - Come on, you two, quick!" Lip demands his younger siblings, interwining his fingers with kodis
"I'm coming."

KODI AND LIP ARE WITH HIS SIBLINGS, KODI IS TRYING TO GET LIAM OUT OF THE CAR... "Come on, Liam, go with Debbie. "
"Here, look, choc, choc... here's the chocolate. Come on. Go with Debbie."
He refuses and grips on Kodi leg.. "come on Liam, chocolate" he takes it smiling and going to Debbie.. "Good boy." Lip' smiling pushing him and giving more chocolate
Kodi and Lip' leaning on the car door... "Debbie, do you trust Fiona?" Steve asks Debbie
"Yeah."
"Do you think she trusts you?" "I don't think so."
"She thinks you're a crap liar. But do you know what I think, Debs?"
"No."
You could be a brilliant liar if you wanted to be. You could be a much better liar. You know lawyers, doctors and nurses and all that lot? Yeah. Professional liars." Steve says
Kodi looking at Lip' who shrugs himself not knowing were this conversation was going... Smirking at Steve is saying, slightly laughing..
"They tell lies to make people's lives better. Your doctor wouldn't say, Tough, you're dying of cancer," would he?" Steve asks her
"No." Debbie responses
"He'd say, "We're doing all we can."
- Yeah.
-"So, what if today you were a doctor, telling a doctor's kind of lie, would you blush? Would you Deb's?"
- No.
"Right. You're a doctor."
"Can I be a nurse?" She asks Steve
"Yeah. Right, be brilliant." Steve says getting "Get my jacket." Lip' opens the door and let's Kodi in, then grabs Steve's jacket jacket and opens "Come on. Good luck."

STEVE MCBRIDE, LIP', IAN AND CARL GALLAGHER and KODI BALL, TURN THE CORNER WATCHING FROM AFAR.. Debbie Gallagher returning the child, who's name Kodi found out was Jody..

Millie speaks — I don't know how I feel about this chapter or the one before that.. it was so hard to find ways to put Kodi in it..
