tony's pov:

Whoever put this group of children's together should burn in hell. I'm talking to you Nick Fury.
The morning everything was good. It was a nice bright day, I was hopeful of my prospects of not having to babysit fools. But alas there I was babysitting utter fools.

It all started when Thor accidentally, but definitely on purpose spent his entire allowance on pop tarts. So about 300 boxes. And then it ended when Clint ate the last one. The dull ache in my head intensified every time Clint shouted 'If you didn't want to eat it, you should've eaten it yourself'. Literal children's I tell you. Today was a big day, it was Peter's first day at the internship. There was this overwhelming sense of relief knowing he was in the tower, safe. There was something about that kid that had me constantly worried, about his health, his school, his happiness. Hopefully the internship will help school those emotions.

Nat had brought out the nerf guns, after being called a trashy song writer, when Happy walked in. Now this was cause for confusion, considering he was meant to be working.
'Hey Happy, glad to know your pay check is keeping you well' I snarked at one of my oldest friends.
'I'd watch what you say to your head of security boss or I may just leak some photos from the karaoke incident of 2011,' Happy retaliated. 'But technically this is a work related meeting'
'Oh do tell what's made you venture all the way up here' I asked, curious to know what was so important.
'We had an issue down in the lobby, with Jeremy' Happy reported with a frown. Well Happy frowned often, but this frown emitted anger.
'He wrongfully accused an intern of trying to sneak in' He finished, clearly disgruntled by the altercation.
'Fire him' I said without a second thought. 'You really don't need my permission for that'
'Yeah but turns out Jeremy's mom is Rebecca Janson' Happy stated. Ah, Janson was a prolific technician, quite a rare talent really.
'How bad was Jeremy?' I asked, hopefully losing Jeremy wouldn't result in losing Janson as well, but some parents man, nightmares. I would never be like that.
'Well considering the kid was having a panic attack when I got there, I'd say pretty bad' Happy snapped back. Wait, Kid?
'Happy' I started slowly, 'Is the kid you're referring to Peter Parker by any chance?' I asked, praying I didn't have to make Jeremy's life a living hell.
'Huh yeah it was Peter Parker, how'd you know?' Happy asked. Unfortunately I was passed rational conversation, and anger had its clutched in me and wasn't planning on letting go anytime soon.
'Did you say Peter' Nat asked, dropping the nerf gun and coming over.
'Yeah, wait you guys know him?' Happy asked more and more confused.
'What happened with Peter?' Nat asked me.
'Apparently some dickhead was rude to him, and Peter had a panic attack because of it', I answered coldly. Suddenly losing Janson wasn't the end of the world.
'Did you say Peter had a panic attack?' Bucky asked, apparently this conversation opened up to everyone.
'Wait metal arm knows Peter too?' Happy asked, disbelief laced his face.
Ignoring Happy, 'Name' was all Nat asked back.
'Someone called Jeremy' I answered honestly.
'So I can fire him right' Happy asked, trying to move the conversation along. Nat in revenge mode was never really the best outcome for anyone involved.
'No Happy, you sit back on this one, I think we can handle it. Consider the rest of your day off' I ordered. Pain, I suddenly had this urge to cause pain.
'Uh you know I love here right?' Happy retorted, rolling his eyes.

'Uhh guys where's Clint?' Steve's voice interrupted. Everyone looked around, but Clint was no longer in the room.
'Omg that idiot' Nat said suddenly, locking eyes with me.
'He's gone to see Peter hasn't he' I groaned, rubbing my forehead with my fingers. 'Children. All of you I swear'

Clint's pov

The metal of the vent was cold against my leg, but hey sacrificed gotta be made for the greater good. And arguably the greater good is me seeing Peter. I gotta take him under my wing, before the rest of them. I have to be the favourite, I always am. I know he's on level 12, from when I snooped in the intern list thing on Potts' desk, but which room?
