We're Going to Hogwarts

Chapter XV Sophia

Um.... why are so many people dying? Like I know it's only two people who died but still. Every day for the last two days, someone died.

First, it was the Slytherin prefect, Daphne Greengrass, who was found by Sarah, and today, it was Jenny, one of the Gryffindors.

I tried to help Madam Pomfrey by checking for a pulse like my mum taught me but it was so weird that Jenny had absolutely no pulse but she wasn't bleeding. It could have been a spell but who would do that? She didn't do anything wrong. At least I don't think so. Who would have a grudge against her?

You know, this reminds me of the whole Chamber of Secrets thing that went on when my parents went here. I wonder if there is a Parseltongue that could get me in there. Maybe Bridgette can speak Parseltongue because her dad could. Oh! What about that Slytherin girl? Sarah? She looked mean enough. I guess I will start there. I found Sarah sitting by the quidditch pitch examining her golden snitch.

"Hey, Sarah,"

"Go away, Hufflepuff."

"Can I talk to you?" I ask her.

"No, leave me alone."

"So.... Do you speak Parseltongue?"

"WHAT?! Who told you that?!" she exclaimed.

"No one, it was just a question," I told her.

"Why do you want to know?" Sarah asked angrily.

"No reason," I said.

"I won't answer then. You don't have a reason so there's no reason for me to answer," Sarah said.

"Fine. I want to get into the Chamber," I tell her.

"What Chamber?" she asks.

"You know, the secret one. The Chamber of Secrets," I tell her.

"I kinda wanted to check it out myself so I can speak Parseltongue and I will open it," she responds.

"Let's go get Wendy and Bridgette then. They'll want to join."

"Uggghhh. Do we have to?" she asks.

"Yes. Now let's go."

"Hey Wendy. Hey Bridgette." I say after I find them in the hallway.

"Hey!" Bridgette said.

"Hi." Wendy said.

"We're going to the Chamber of Secrets. Want to come? I think there might be a clue down there to what's going on. Come on," I say.
