End of a beginning

" So everyone remember the plan?" asked James, 

after a lot of persuasion, y/n had finally agreed to help the boys play a prank on Sni...Severus

they were waiting in the corridor waiting for him to walk by like he always did 

when he did they threw the dung bombs, stink pellets and hair dye at him and ran for their lives laughing their heads off 

they barged into the great hall still laughing but stopped when Minnie and Lily pinned them with identical looks 

holding back their laughs and choking on their spit they sat down 

"Hey, lily flower" James greeted

Lily rolled her eyes

y/n and Sirius were gobbling down their food in a race so that they could check on the animagus potion,  they had already put in their saliva-soaked mandrake leaf 

the days just flew by and y/n found herself in the common room laughing her head off again after the end-of-the-year prank they pulled on Filch.

it was the last day of school tomorrow and y/n was really excited to see her parents again but her happiness was foreshadowed with the gloom of leaving her friends and meeting her dreadful sister. 

everyone was in the common room when y/n flopped on the couch and sighed dramatically 

"what is it ?"Marlene her gryffindor best friend asked 

"yeah y/n why so gloomy classes are finally over " dorcas her other best friend asked 

y/n snuggled up to faera and mumbled"im going to miss you guys so much"

"Aww thats so cute y/n who knew you were such a softie?" teased alice poking her in the side 

"stop" whined y/n 

"we are going to miss you too y/n" dorcas smiled 

"and so is someone else" said faera mischeivously

"Who?"asked y/n curiously as she sat up 

"James who else?"marlene smiled knowingly

"James?"scoffed y/n

"why would james miss me ?" y/n asked increduosly

"I dont know..... maybe because he obviously likes you" said alice slyly nudging y/n

"ME??? no pffft he likes LILY" y/n scoffed shaking her head at the ridiculous idea

the girls exchanged knowing looks 

"hey y/n why do you look you could kill someone?" sirius asked squeezing himself between y/n and faera 

faera blushed 

"these people have gotten the idea that james likes me into their minds" y/n grumbled

"thats ridiculous, its obviously us who are in love" sirius joked

y/n rolled her eyes and swatted his arm blushing slightly

"uhh.......um ...... i got to use the lavatory....bye" faera excused herself abruptly

"that was weird " said sirius swinging his arm around y/n distractedly, his eyes following faera out the room with a weird look on his face

the next day everyone boarded the hogwarts express to take the long ride home 

y/n spent most of the time sleeping and playing exploding snap with her friends 

"I reckon we should call our group something" james said suddenly 

"like marauders?" sirius suggested after a long moment of silence invested in thinking

"thats a great name " remus smiled , the others nodded 

sirius smiled and nodded looking out the window 

"hey we are here" he shouted jumping up as the train pulled to a stop 

after a long moment of goodbyes and promises to write 

y/n and lily crossed the barrier to platform 9 where their parents were waiting for them 

y/n hugged them both and smiled at the prospect of another lovely summer ahead

hey guyss that is the end of first year and as i told you i wont be writing year 2 but ill do year 1 summer then time skip to year 3
