Dimsdale was a small town where extraordinary things happened, and the people there seemed unaware of it all. On this particularly gray morning, a family three had moved in to quaint little home next to a forest. A little girl of seven years watched the furniture and appliances be moved into the house. She had gorgeous topaz eyes, dark brown hair with a single strand of silver in it, and wore a black shirt with a white skull in the middle, a black skirt and socks, with white and black converse.

Her name was Riley Summers, and she was a girl with an extraordinary gift... and a troublesome situation. 'Another day, a few more steps closer to hell.' Riley thought to herself pessimistically. You see, Riley lived with her father, Adrien, who loved her more than anything in the world, while her mother, Ferena, seemed to despise her for what Riley could do. Oh, and another thing-- Riley knew a little bit of voodoo magic. But she really wanted to be normal like her father. Her mother dabbled in light magic and kept to herself. Sometimes the girl would imagine a world where she wasn't extraordinary. Where she could be just an average girl like other girls her age.

But, little did Riley know that her life was going to get a lot more crazy the more time she spent in this small town.

~On the other end of the street~

Sitting in his room and looking through the window was a young boy in a magenta shirt and hat, with gray pants and shoes. His name was Timmy Turner. He watched his parents drive off knowing exactly what came next after they would leave.

'Everytime they leave me with her, I wish more and more I knew magic.' Timmy thought to himself. He had tried before to wish for magical powers, but it was apparently against Da Rules. That's when his fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, his fairy godbrother, Poof, and his fairy dog Sparky, appeared in the room with him. That's when his fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, his fairy godbrother, Poof, and his fairy dog Sparky, appeared in the room with him. "Don’t worry about a thing, sport," Wanda tried to assure him. "You still have us." She attempted to cheer him up. That was true. He did appreciate having them here with him, but it only did so much. "Thank you, guys." Timmy replied to them, offering him a small smile.

"Hey, I think I see a new family moving in down the street!" Sparky said, pressing his paws on the window. "Maybe once we escape from Vicky’s wrath, we can see if they have any fun cats to chase!" He exclaimed with excitement. Timmy chuckled to himself as he pat his fairy dog on the head. "Never change, Sparky. You're a good boy." He told the canine. Sparky licked his boy on the face, causing Timmy to laugh.

But… the fun didn’t last for long. "HEY, TWERP!!" a shrill feminine voice pierced through the air. "Quick, guys!" Timmy urged the fairies in a whisper. "Hide!" He whispered. Wanda, Cosmo, and Poof then disappeared right as a teenaged red haired girl kicked the door open with a sadistic grin. "Time to play a little game I like to call 'Hide and Don't Get Caught or You'll Get Hurt.'" She told him, pulling out a baseball bat with nails hammered at its end. Timmy gulped nervously. "All right, I guess… but you gotta count to twenty first. That’s how these games NORMALLY work… right?" He tried to buy himself some time.

"Hmm... NO!!!" The girl screamed before laughing maniacally.

Sparky growled menacingly before tackling right on top of Vicky, causing her to scream and try and get the dog off her while Timmy leapt over the two and dashed down the hall to escape. Now all he needed to do was find a place to hide where Vicky wouldn't find him... at least until his parents got home. But the question was... where?

"Timmy!" Sparky called to his boy. The star on his tail glowed for a moment and an opening in the wall appeared, enough to hide them both. "Thanks, boy!" Timmy exclaimed before jumping into it. The opening closed up and the boy and dog curled into each other, trying to stay as quiet as possible. They eventually heard Vicky’s quiet footsteps passing them by, causing them to squeeze closer to each other. "Where are you, you meddlesome little brat?!" She called before groaning. "Fine-- but you can’t hide forever. I’m gonna go watch something on the dungeon channel for an hour, but after that hour’s up, you’re TOAST!" She threatened.

And just like that, she was gone.

"Phew… that was too close," Timmy sighed. "But we better find another place to hide in case she comes looking for us again." He suggested to his fairy dog. "... Timmy? Why don't you just wish for Vicky to never bother you again?" Sparky asked him, looking up at him with concerned eyes. "Because, if I wanna keep Cosmo, Wanda and Poof, I don’t really have a choice," Timmy explained. "Vicky’s one of the reasons I got my fairies to begin with, and if I wished for her never to bother me again, I could lose them." He told Sparky, an edge of sadness in his voice. Sparky whined and placed his head in his boy's lap. "... Even though we have to abide by them, I hate da rules." The fairy dog admitted.

"Yeah… me too," Timmy replied comfortingly.

Yes, Timmy's life was not all that average for a boy his age. He really wishes he had been born different so that he could actually change things. Both Riley and Timmy wished with all their hearts that something would change.

Little did they know that they would meet sooner than they thought. And they would share experiences that would change both of their lives for the better.
