A week had already passed since Timmy and Riley had met each other, but the two were already becoming fast best friends. Any time they met up, they'd find something fun to do or talk about. Though the buck-toothed kid was another light in the girl's life, he couldn't make her forget about everything.
No matter how much she enjoyed her life with her dad and Timmy, her mother seemed to find a way to bring her mood down, darkening whatever light Riley seemed to latch onto. It felt like her life was always teetering to either satisfied or miserable. Fortunately, it was this misery that alerted the Fairy Counsel of Fairy World.
They knew that this girl needed fairies, but... who would be a good match for a girl with so many struggles. Thinking quickly, Jorgen had made the individual decision for the girl to share fairies with another kid. And the muscular fairy smirked as he knew the very kid he would stick Riley with. And so, he poofed right down from Fairy World to alert those sharing their fairies of this news.
Timmy had just got back from a casual day - for him - of school, ignoring his parents and going straight to his room. Not that they bothered to notice him anyway. "Might as well read some Crimson Chin comics while waiting for the torture to end," Timmy said to himself, flipping open a comic book on his bed. Right as he was about to start reading, Jorgen had poofed in and startled the young boy. "Jorgen! Way to give me a heart attack!" Timmy frowned as Sparky sat beside him and Cosmo, Wanda and Poof flew over. "What are you doing here, Jorgen?" Wanda then asked politely.
"Turner! The Fairy Counsel and I have come to the decision that you will now be sharing your fairies with another child." Jorgen informed the young boy, smirking as he knew the reaction this would get from Timmy. "I... huh... what?!" Timmy exclaimed in surprise. "Jorgen, that can't be right! I've always had Cosmo, Wanda and Poof to myself! W-W-What if I don't like the new kid?" He asked, desperately trying to think of how to avoid this. "Too bad! The decision has already been made!" Jorgen yelled, slamming his large wand down and shaking the room. "You never know what the new kid will be like unless you give it a try, sport," Wanda tried to reassure her godson once the shaking had stopped. "Who are we being assigned to, Jorgen?" She asked the military fairy.
"Your new kid you will also be assigned to is a little girl named Riley Summers." Jorgen answered the pink-haired fairy woman. Timmy's eyes widened and he was shocked to here the name of his best friend. 'Riley will be sharing Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof with me? That's...' He thought hesitantly to himself.
"... AWESOME!!!" Timmy suddenly cheered.
"Whoa whoa whoa, Timmy," Sparky suddenly spoke. "You're happy to share Cosmo and Wanda?" The fairy dog asked in surprise. "I mean, if it was anyone else, no," Timmy replied bluntly, leaping off his bed. "But since it's Riley, I don't keep my fairies from her anymore! We can wish for amazing things together, and I can take her to Fairy World, and we'll be even closer than we were! We gotta go tell her right now!"
Seeing that the young boy was actually overjoyed by the news, Jorgen was disappointed and then poofed then right into Riley's room.
With her in it, reading from her book of voodoo.
Tiff was curled up next to Riley, taking a well-deserved cat nap, and Riley reached over to scratch her behind her ears. She turned to look up and was immediately startled by the newcomers she had finally noticed.
"AGH!!" Riley stumbled back in surprise, grabbing the spear that she had carved next to her bed. "Stand back... stand back, I'm telling you! I got a spear and I'm not afraid to use it!"
"Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa!" Timmy jumped out from behind Jorgen with Sparky at his heels. "Tap the brakes there, Riley!"
"Timmy?! How did you get in here?" Riley asked before leaning in to whisper. "Did these guys kidnap you? Want me to call 9-1-1?" She asked her best friend. "... No. Take notice of the wings and crowns, Riley? And when did you have the time to make a spear?!" Timmy exclaimed as if she'd gone crazy. Riley giggled nervously and tossed the spear aside. "Sorry... I made that during a camping trip I took with Dad a few months ago. So, uh... what the voodoo is going on here?" She asked, looking to the strange group. "Not voodoo, Riley... fairies." Timmy told her with a smirk.
