The next day. It felt good to be away from the hospital. Still in a wheelchair and crutches, though. Sam was away with Faya's friends. They wanted to test if Aaron and Femke's gift worked. We would do it for real in the evening and film some footage already. I wanted to come along but was still quite tired from the medication. Faya was with me and cracking her head about the one person she remembers. More than one person didn't come out. She doesn't know if she had ever seen him before, nor what he looked like. Just that there is someone.

'I'm going crazy doing nothing,' she said.

'What should I say now. I can't leave here.'

'Sorry...' she said immediately.

'No sorry, I understand you. You want to know the truth,' I said.

'Aren't you regretting now that you can't do the things you planned now?'

'Bit, but this is hugely special. You don't experience something like this very often. We've already done so many crazy things but this... this is too crazy.' I said honestly.

'The only thing I miss that I did look forward to was Tomorrow land. We were going to take a holiday here and do the festival but yeah...'

'Seems to be good though. But that's not so my kind of music, and way too crowded. Rather small gigs or festivals with my fave artists.'

'And who are they?'

'From Belgium they are: Aaron ofcourse. Stan Van Samang, Niels Destadsbader, Metejoor. Otherwise, I'm mega fan of R5 and Big Time Rush. Country-wise, I'm mega fan of Brad Paisley and Zac Brown Band. And Kip Moore is also hugely good. And you, really Colby, your song Skin, fantastic! You should do more music,' she said with a laugh.

'Lots of fandoms, like Femke said. And that quote that Skylar said really suits you.'

'Music is my life, I love hearing all kinds of things. And yeah... that's just who I am,' she said, laughing.

All afternoon we were talking about all sorts of things. Getting to know each other better. It was hugely enjoyable and I have never laughed so hard. It was especially nice to see her talking passionately about everything she liked. Also about me and Sam. Her eyes were shining every time and with the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. And when I told her something, she really listened. She also said honestly when it was not so her thing but that made her even more fun. She was honest, she didn't fake it.

'What, you line-danced?' She said laughing.

'Yes, after the live stream we wanted to have a drink and we ended up in a pub where that there was a country party going on. Someone came up to us. She recognised us because of you and she took us onto the dance floor.'

'Nooooooo!!! Are you serious?!!!'

'Yep, right here.' ' I said and showed a video from that night.

'But that's at my club. 'The boots and Belts. That's my teacher,' she said immediately.

'Sam and Colby, dancing copperhead road! Wonderful!!!' Exclaimed she.

'We were doing so well and suddenly those over there started shouting. We were so startled we couldn't keep up.'

'Hahah, everyone has that for the first time. I had that too. But that's typical here, we're always shout.'

'But was really cool. Would love to learn a few more.'

'I know 100s of them, let me give you a list of the fun ones, both easy and very difficult,' she said with a wink. She showed some bits from her favourite dances like this and really she is amazing. I could only laugh.

It was getting night so fast. Around 10pm when it was completely dark. We were all on our way to the scene. It was manageable for me in the wheelchair as it wasn't that far from the hotel after all.

I could see that Faya did have nerves, but secretly I did too. We never know in advance whether it will work out. And what we are all going to hear. The cameras were in good working condition and we started right away. First we tried our equipment, REM-pod, EMF, torches, music box....

We started with the REM-pod and torches.

'Feel free to interact with us,' Sam said, explaining how everything worked and showing it off.

'We hope to speak to you Niels, we need answers to help Faya,' I said.

'Please give a sign through the REM pod or torches, or noise around us,' Sam said. It was silent for a while. The lights of REM-pod started flickering silently but no sound came out. We all looked at each other. Bit shocked but still okay.

'Niels? Is it you?' said Skylar cautiously.

'We'll count down... 3, 2, 1... ' said Sam. Nothing happened or so we thought. We were too focused on the REM pod that we didn't realise that 1 torch had come on.

'Colby... 'A torch,' Faya said and pointed at it.

'A torch is lit.' Said I. 'Thank you.' ' I whispered to Faya.

'We will try it like this. The red for yes, blue no. Is this you Niels?' Said Sam. The red torch went on for a moment but then off again. The REM pod also went off for a moment. Everyone was speechless. Me and Sam were used to this but the others were not.

'Is it just you Niels?' Aaron asked to get confirmation. The blue torch jumped on. There would be someone else present.

'We just want to talk to Niels...' said Femke and then the other torch jumped on again. We asked several more questions but didn't get many answers.

Did the drugs come from you? If not, do you know who did? Was the accident really an accident? Did you still love Faya and that's why you wanted to help?

It was getting extremely late and I really needed some rest. The medication also does make me extremely tired.

We decided to wind down for now and try again tomorrow. We will test everything until we know more. Me, Sam and Faya were back at the hotel. The others returned home.

'Hopefully things will work out better tomorrow,' Sam said and plopped down on the bed. 'We got into it and I want to fix this.'

'Not just you. Promised her. She needs my help, because yes.... I'm the only one seeing her.'

'Doesn't she have anything at her house that belongs to Niels? Or is there something we can use to get his attention?' Asked Sam.

'I don't know directly, we can look tomorrow.' ' She said to me and I passed it to Sam.

'Then we'll try that tomorrow and our other equipment. And also Aaron and Femke's ritual because have seen them busy and it's really equal Codi and Satori!'

'Great, we're going to be able to find out some more that way.'

'But now sleep, that we are rested. 'Sleep well' said Sam.

'Sleep well. You too Faya' I said and closed my eyes. I heard her quietly still whispering. 'You too.'
