POV Faya

I woke up. Colby was still asleep with the kittens on him. Colby was still lying against his shoulder and Sam in his arms. I melted away so much from how cute this was.

I kissed him gently to wake him up.

'Good morning handsome.'

'Good morning love.' He startled at Colby still lying on his shoulder and burst out laughing.

'Oh sorry colby, didn't mean to scare you...' he said and took hold of him along with Sam.

'Those 2 are so sweet!'

'I know, just like you guys.' Said I smiling. They had nestled against Colby again and he took out his cell phone for a picture.

'As a reminder...' he said quietly with a smile.

'What do you want to do today? I don't know how long I'm going to be here.' Said I with a scared heart.

'First to the hotel and get my stuff ready and see what Sam wants to do next.'

'We'll do that.' I cleared everything here and then went with Colby to the hotel.

Once there, Sam was having breakfast with my friends there.

'Heyy everybody,' Colby said.

'Heyy, our last day here.' Sam replied immediately.

'Yeah, I don't want to go home...'

'It has to unfortunately, but we can still do something.' Said Sam.

'I'm performing today, if you guys want to come watch.' said Aaron.

'Yeah why not? Where and at what time?' Asked Colby.

'7:30 tonight in Aalst.'

'All right, we'll see you there.' Smiled Sam. I was hugely excited already. Sam and Colby going to see Aaron? Surely this is too crazy for words. My friends left, Aaron still had to rehearse for it.

'We'd best get our bags ready right?" said Sam and straightened up.

'Yeah...' replied Colby.

'Is she still here?'

'She's still here.' ' Said he and looked at me.

'I believe everything is going to be okay. She's going to get through this.'

'I hope so, but the fright is there,' Colby said quietly.

'I have an idea, can't we go back to a country party! Do something she loves?' Said Sam

'Not a bad plan but need to know where.'

'I'll check on Fb.' Said I and scrolled between the various accounts and posts of singers that I know.

I had found 1 in Ghent for this afternoon.

'Faya looked and there's an event in Ghent she says,' Colby said to Sam.

'First our stuff, then to Ghent and finally a concert by Aaron. Great!" said Sam and so they shot into action.

POV Colby

After getting our bags ready, we were on our way to Ghent, The Old Texas country club. Sam sent with Faya her teacher Rita to see if we could come which was possible because 2 of their club could not meet.

I did have a hard time, not from the pain but because the time is almost here to say goodbye to Faya. The case is solved and we return home tomorrow. The uncertainty of whether she will come out of her coma is also something I cannot let go of. I still want to be able to see and hear her.
