Eren's POV
As I walked back to the hotel, I was ecstatic. I had a spring in my step and a smile so wide my cheeks hurt. But then halfway there, I was hit with this crippling feeling. I was happy that Levi was my boyfriend, but I was only here in Vegas for two weeks. What were Levi and I going to do when I had to return back to Florida? We would be on opposite sides of the country! I felt my stomach clench and my eyes began to sting. What in the hell were we to do? We'd have to make a decision together of course. I guess I'll have to talk to him after he gets off work though. I decided to ask Armin for some advice in the meantime though, to mentally prepare myself for the hell I was probably about to put myself through.I pushed my way through the crowds in the street to make it back to the hotel. I needed to talk to Armin and I needed to talk to him now. I made it into the hotel lobby alive and rushed towards the staircase that was towards the back. I threw open the door and jogged up the stairs towards the fifth floor. All those hours spent working out back home paid off, I made it up the stairs in two minutes flat, probably. I walked over to our hotel room which was near the staircase and knocked on the door seeing as I left my key in there the previous day. I was greeted with a royally pissed Mikasa but I paid her no mind and pushed my way into the hotel room. There were various things scattered about and suitcases overfilling with clothes haphazardly placed around the suite.
"Where's Armin?" I asked while scanning the room looking for the blonde coconut.
"Where the hell have you been?" Mikasa ignored my previous question. She put her hands on her hips and began tapping her foot against the floor. If she kept scowling as deeply as she was, she was sure to have wrinkles by the time we graduated college.
"I don't see how Armin's whereabouts have to do with where I was last night." I retorted, crossing my arms in a similar fashion as my adoptive sister.
"Mikasa who was at the door?" Armin poked his head out from the bedroom door. I have never been so thankful to see him before in my life.
"Oh hey Armin can I talk to you for a second?" I asked, ignoring Mikasa's scowl that was now aimed at Armin.
"Uh y-yeah sure." Armin backed into the bedroom with me a this heels. Once we were both in the room and away from Mikasa, I locked the door and leaned against it. I let out a sigh and slid down the door, coming to a stop at the floor. I buried my hands in my hair, pulling at it like I do when I'm stressed out.
"Armin I have a problem and I need your advice."
"What's wrong?" Armin asked. He sat on the bed in front of me with his legs folded under him.
"So I met this person, we started talking, went on a date etc. Then they asked me to be their boyfriend but they live here and I live, well, in Florida." I sighed.
"Well just decline their offer." Armin said with a shrug.
"I can't." I let my hands fall away and my head hit the door.
"You already said yes didn't you?"
"Yes I did Armin and I really like them. I 'm afraid I like them a little too much. This is the first person I've ever truly had strong feelings for Armin and I don't know what to do." I looked over at him and saw him looking at me with his eyes full of pity.
"Well you could do one of two things. You could end things now before they get too serious and never speak to them again because we leave in eleven days. Or you could fall head over heels into your first love and be brutally ripped apart in eleven days. But with option number two, you have to make these the best eleven days you've ever had. Make the best of them if you choose that path but be wise about it Eren. Think rationally for a few minutes." Armin flopped back onto the bed with his arms spread out like a bird.
"Also Eren, I would be careful around Levi. Even though you like him he's cold and calculated. He knows exactly what he's doing. Just please be careful." Armin sighed.
"How did you know it was Levi?" I asked.
"Last night at dinner, I saw the way you looked at him and vice versa. You looked at him with so much emotion in your eyes Eren. What you're feeling right is strong and it's real and powerful." Armin flipped over onto his stomach to look at me.
"Mikasa is going to kill me Armin." I let my head hit the door once again.
"She'll be mad, but in the end I think she'll support you no matter what."
"Thanks for your help Armin. What would I do without you?"I got up from my spot by the door and dragged myself over to Armin. I ruffled his blonde bowl cut and cackled when he squealed and rolled away from me.
"Okay I got to go, I'm meeting someone for lunch." Armin stood up and walked to the door.
"Who?" I asked.
"Uh his name is Erwin and he uh w-wanted to m-meet me for lunch." Armin ran his thumb over his knuckles rapidly. It was a nervous tick of his.
"Tall, blonde, caterpillars for eyebrows?" I gestured his height with my hand.
"Uh yeah how did you know?" Armin looked up at me through his hair.
"He pierced my lip for me and he works with Levi." I explained.
"Oh okay cool. I like your piercings by the way, they suit you. But I have to get going or I'll be late. See you later Eren!" Armin waved and jogged out of the hotel room, a smile plastered on his face.
