Author's Note/ Update

Hello everyone, long time no see!

This author's note  is way over due, and I posted something similar just as a message, but I figured if I did it this way, it would reach those that truly care about Bright Eyes and its sequel.

I would like to begin with an apology that you all deserve. I promised a sequel in my finale, and as we all know one was never published. I'm sorry for never following up on my word and letting you folks down. When I wrote Bright Eyes, I was in middle school, maybe seventh or eighth grade, and I am now a sophomore in college, so this story happened a very long time ago. I still am a writer; I'm studying English actually. But even though lots of time has passed, Bright Eyes, and all of you, are still very important to me.

I never imagined that my story would gain the traction that it did, and for that I would like to thank all of you. I know it may not seem like a big deal to most, but to me it means the world. The fact that so many people have enjoyed my work and left such kind and loving comments blows me away. I never thought this could happen. So, thank you all from the very bottom of my heart.

I would absolutely love to write a sequel. Things are just really, really busy. I also have none of the old work I did on Angel, for some reason, so in the event that I do write it, I would have to start completely from scratch. This is something I am willing to do, but it will take some time. I have made you all wait long enough, and I am sorry to make you wait even longer. But if you all don't mind, I would love to give it a shot.
