Eren's POV
"Leviiiiiii come pay attention to me." I yelled from my current spot in the bed.
I was up pretty late last night and I had just woken up. It was around one in the afternoon and I was sad when Levi wasn't next to me when I woke up.I heard a small noise in the kitchen and Levi shuffled into the bedroom. He didn't look to great really. His eyes were red and bloodshot with dark circles underneath them. His shoulders were hunched and his face was blank. He had seen better days.
"What's wrong love?" I asked softly. I held my arms out for him and he crawled into them.
"I don't know Bright Eyes." His voice was gravely, like he had been screaming for hours on end.I hugged him close to my chest and slid down in the bed so that we were both laying down. He had his arms and legs wrapped tightly around my torso and his face was buried in my naked chest. He planted a light kiss on the center of my chest and a shock ran down my arms. His lips had just barley grazed my skin but it still had the same affect that a full blown make out session would have.
I could feel the heat radiating off his body and the buttons of the shirt he was wearing pressed lightly into my skin. Just the closeness of his body was enough to to make my breath skip and my heart flutter. He nuzzled his face into my chest and his eyes fluttered closed. He reminded me of a cat. One of those really needy ones that demand your attention all day and night but play it off like they don't actually like the attention. I had a cat like that as a kid. He was a rag doll cat and he was the fluffiest thing on the planet. I chuckled under my breath at the thought of Levi as a cat.
"What're you laughin at?" He mumbled into my chest.
"I was just thinking about how you're like a cat." I pictured Levi as a little black kitten with striking blue eyes curled up on a sofa or something of the sort.
"You think I'm like a cat?" He looked up at me with an incredulous expression.
"Yeah just a little bit." I smiled down at him and kissed his forehead.
"I have a cat tattoo you know." Levi said while propping himself up on his elbow.
"Can I see it?" I asked sheepishly.Levi sat up on his knees in front of me. I propped myself up on my elbow and rested my head in my hand. I could feel the cold metal of the key necklace I always wore slide across my chest to accommodate to the new position.
Levi started to unbutton the white dress shirt he was wearing. He looked the other way and light coat of blush coated his cheeks. I watched him bite his lip and his hands grew quite shaky. He shrugged the shirt off his shoulders and it pooled around his legs in milky ripples. His chest and right arm were covered in a huge black and grey piece. His left arm had a new school style sleeve of the solar system and surrounding galaxies. Three tattoos adorned his stomach right above the waistband of his boxers. There were several tattoos on his thighs and calves.
Levi turned his torso to the side and lifted up his left arm. He pointed to a spot under his rib cage. I leaned up to get a closer look. Sure enough there was a little black cat, sitting on it's haunches. It had a small crescent moon on it's forehead right above it's eyes. It was kitten sized and it had baby blue eyes. Exactly how I imagined Levi as a cat.
"May I?" I asked. I looked up at him for permission. He blushed harder and nodded his head.My fingers lightly brushed over the skin where the cat was and little goosebumps rose on Levi's skin. I traced the outline of the small kitten. It was a very realistic portrait minus the crescent moon on it's fur.
"Can I look at your other tattoos?" I asked softly while still looking the kitten.
Levi tensed up under my finger tips and I carefully looked up at him. His jaw was clenched and his cheeks pink with blush. He swallowed hard before answering.
"Yes." His voice was husky and deep and his blush went from Sakura pink to bright red.I got up on my knees so that I could maneuver around his body with ease. His arms hung loosely by his sides and his hair covered his eyes. I kneeled in front of him and ran my fingers lightly over the spirals and shapes of the black and grey piece. His muscles were tense and his fingers were trembling. On his pec there was a grenade. It was made out of different artistic items such as calligraphy pens and easels. Things of that nature. Underneath the grenade there was there were four words in cursive lettering. The letters had a certain edge to them, that made them more intense and not as dainty as normal cursive lettering. The words read "Art is the Weapon." The tattoo was surrounded by spirals of sorts. They reminded me of wind spiraling across his chest and down his right arm.
