Turtlepaw padded down the slope into the hollow of Fourtrees, it had been two moons since her ceremony and the weird dream she'd had. Herbs and mixes ran through her head constantly, in fact she was repeating one to Sparrowfeather as they entered the hollow. "Chervil and Horsetail." Sparrowfeather nodded as they sat down underneath Great Rock. Turtlepaw could see Lionpaw and Briarpaw sitting together, she couldnt help but notice Brackenpaw and Branchpaw nearby. Lionpaw was hostile with the tom and his sister. "Can I go talk to others?" She asked her mentor who nodded. Turtlepaw trotted by Briarpaw and sat next to Branchpaw, blinking softly at Brackenpaw. "How is Riverclan?" She asked. "You smell of herbs." Branchpaw pinned her ears. "Go talk to your medicine cat friends." She spat, there was a scar on her torso. Turtlepaw frowned, she'd done that. Lionpaw turned his head. "Talking to enemy warriors as a medicine cat?" He glared. Brackenpaw bristled in the corner of her eye but Turtlepaw retorted before he spoke. "As a medicine cat apprentice warrior drama does not occur as much to me." Lionpaw rolled his eyes and flexed his long claws. His large paws worked at the ground below him. Briarpaw flicked her tail in anger.
"Windclan is fortunate to have so many warriors and apprentices. Four of our apprentices recently became warriors. Whiteclaw, Sheepfur, Lightpelt, and Birdnose." The clans chanted the warrior's names. "Yellowwhisker is also expecting kits." Bramblestar chimed that bit of news in. Shadowclan and Thunderclan cheered happily, Riverclan only muttered comments. Turtlepaw sat next to Swiftpaw, the thunderclan medicine apprentice and Sparrowfeather. She yawned as the gathering came to an end and the clans said their goodbyes before splitting and heading to their territories. Turtlepaw gave a purr to Brackenpaw and watched as he left.
The medicine cats lingered momentarily before leaving after their clans. "Who was that apprentice you saw?" Sparrowfeather fell into step beside her. "Brackenpaw, he was wondering how training was and congratulating me for being a medicine cat. He was one of the cats I met when I first went outside of camp as Haresprints apprentice. I didnt see Bugpaw tonight." Turtlepaw lied easily, she didn't really look for Bugpaw. Sparrowfeather twitched his whiskers. "Turtlepaw, medicine cats have their own rules, one is that you cannot have a mate and kits. Warrior rules say you cannot be friendly like that with other clans. Be careful, Turtlepaw." He said, padding forwards and into camp. Turtlepaw suddenly knew what that dream was. Whoever was speaking had said those words to Sparrowfeather. She clawed the ground and looked up at the stars. "Let me decide my path." She spat before bounding into camp. Turtlepaw curled up in her nest angrily before falling asleep.
