The next day I woke up around mid afternoon. I look around my room for Kevin. I get out of bed. I walk to my bathroom. I take a shower. Thirty minutes later I got out of the shower.  I put my clothes on and get ready for the day.

Dustin walks in my room. Dustin sits on the end of my bed. Dustin asks. " What did you talk about all night?" I walk out of the bathroom into my room. I walk to Dustin. I say. " We are getting to know each other. I don't want to rush into anything right now. We are just friends." Dustin rolls his eyes. Dustin asks. "What happened with you and Austin?"  I look at Dustin. I ask. "What do you mean?" Dustin laughs then he says. " I know he has not been calling you or texting you."  I walk to the radio on the dresser then play some music.  Dustin walks out the room.  Dustin thinks she's shutting people out, that isn't her. She is normally sweet , loving , and down to earth. I just hope she isn't spiraling.

I take a deep breath. I turn the music up loud and dance around my room. Thirty minutes later my phone rings.  Debating on if I should answer it I stare at my phone to see who it is.  As I look at my phone I see that it's Lexie. Knowing I should let it ring, I answer it. " Hello?" I say in a calm voice. " Katie help me, I can't get out of my car." Lexie says in a panic. Keeping calm on the outside. I say " Okay I'm on my way. Where are you?" Lexie tries to keep from crying. She tells me where she is. I get ready real fast. walk out the door. get in my car. I drive to Lexie.  As I get closer to her I see the damage done to her car. I call Kevin and Dustin. They both meet me at Lexie's car. I get out of my car. I walk to lexie. " Hold on, we will try to get you out."  She nods her head. Dustin gets a bat out of his truck then busts the glass out of her back window.  Lexie wiggled her way loose then crawled out the back window.  I look at Lexie and she has cuts and bruises all over her.  I say " Come on, let me get you to the hospital. You need to be checked over to make sure nothing is broken."  I helped her to my car. I open my back car door.  lay her down in my back seat.  Lexie holds her left side the whole way there.  As we pull up to the hospital the doctors and nurses come running out with a gurney. I get out of my car. I helped Lexie out of my back seat. The nurse  asked me what happened to her. I tried to explain, but Lexie had to be rushed in.
