Hearing his words I felt a sense of calm rush over me. I take a deep breath. I looked at him. I ask him. " Kevin, what are we?" He looks at me then smiles. He says. " I want to be with you but you just got out of a relationship. I don't want to rush anything. Besides, your brother would kill me." I look at him in shock. I ask " What did you say? I don't have a brother." Kevin looks at me all confused. She doesn't know about Dustin being her brother. He thought to himself. Pulling away from Kevin I ask. " What are you not telling me Kevin?" Kevin takes a deep breath. Kevin says. " It is not my place to tell you Katie."
We keep walking down the trail. An hour later I got a text from Dustin saying he needed to tell me something. I look at my phone then look at kevin. We both leave the trail then go to Dustin's house. Thirty minutes later we both walked through the front door. I walk to the living room then sit on the couch. Kevin walks to me. Kevin sits beside me.
Dustin walks in the living room from his room then sits in the chair by the couch. Dustin says. " Kevin and I need to go on a mission. Will you be okay on your own?" I take a deep breath. I say. " Yeah I will be fine." They both look at me. Kevin says. " We could be gone for as long as a month to six months." Kevin puts his arm around me. I ask Kevin. " Where are you both going?" Dustin gets up out of his chair then walks to me. I look at him. I ask Dustin. " What is the mission?" They look at eachother then back at me. Dustin says. " We need to go through the other bases to find our dad." I look at Dustin in shock. I ask. " What did you just say?"
