A/n [ author note ]: im gonna write a bit of y/n's childhood for maybe 2 -3 chapters so here it is.

3rd person pov

5 year old y/n walked into the preschool classroom, being carful not to fall . as she walked to the front of the class , the teacher introduced her to the other children .

'' class today we have a new student her name is l/n . be nice to her alrigth also shes blind so she cant see so be careful when playing with her. now y/n youll be sitting with shinsou, shinsou can you lead her to your table ? ''

the teacher asked after her introduction. '' ok teacher '' young y/n heard a soft voce that belonged to the boy named shinsou . she suddeny felt someone leading her to the table she was assigned to . as she sat down she heard the voice speak again but this time to her .'' h-hi my name is shinsou , nice to meet you '' shinsou stutterd , young y/n could hear his heartbeat going faster by the minute ' he must be nervous' she though .

'' hello my name is l/n nice to meet you too!'' She replied excitedly " I hope we can be friends! " she exclaimed with a smile on her face . " yeah.. friends " shinsou muttered.

Time skip

It was break time and all the children were running around playing whatever game they were playing. y/n was sitting by a tree all alone ,eating her lunch in peace when She felt her bento get taken out of her hands " um excuse me can I have my bento back " she politely asked whoever was infront of her.
" no way ! Freaks like you don't deserve food and you don't deserve being here blind freak! " a boy said as he pushed y/n, making her graze a knee

" ow ! , stop that I did nothing wrong !" She protested. Before the boy could hurt her any further, a voice called out to them . " stop bullying her! " , the boy stopped looking at the person who called out to them " hey look its the villain , what do u want ? " the boy scoffed

" are you really a hero !? " shinsou shouted , " huh what kind of question is- " . The boy stopped mid sentence as shinsou activated his Quirk " now go away !" He shouted at the boy who did as he commanded

Y/n who was still on the ground was confused by what happened .
As she lifted herself up she heard shinsou speak " um , a-are you ok ? " he asked with a nervous tone. " I'm fine "she replied.
" I understand i-if you don't want to be my friend because of my quirk " shinsou stutterd nervously. " hm ? What is your Quirk? " the girl asked curiously and tilted her head . Shinsou hesitated to tell her but he did so anyway ." my quirk is brainwashing " , he replied looking down at the floor waiting for her to judge him. But instead he heard " woah that's so cool !" . Shinsou looked at y/n as she said so .

" y-you don't think it's a villains quirk ? " , shinsou asked sounding surprisd . " it doesn't sound like one ", y/n replied while tapping her chin. Shinsou had never heard anyone say his quirk was cool so hearing it from y/n made him feel.. happy .

"Well my quirk is earth bending but I don't know how to control it yet" , y/n exclaimed happily. '' that's so cool ! , W-who did you get it from ?" shinsou asked as he awed . "I got it from my mum " she said blandly before changing the subject.

" by the way, thank you for protecting me from those bullies " y/n said pulling her hand out to shake with shinsou except.... she was facing the wrong way .

"um im over here l/n " shinsou says as he turns the blind girl around who is now facing him. "Oh, sorry I do that alot"
Y/n giggles in embarrassment. " let's be friends! " she suddeny said.

Shinsou didn't even think twice before say yes , he was just happy he finally had a friend . Ever since then,the two would protect each other from people that tried to bully them and shinsou became y/n's best friend.
