Hopeful Hangout

It was the next day. Officially, summer break! As Naoto wakes up on his own, the birds chirping outside, the wind blowing as the tress and leaves would shuffle from it. It was hot early though, so Naoto would take a shower, and would calm down.

He goes downstairs to see his parents, usually but would get
ready for work.

Mrs Naoto:"good morning honey! Luckily I was able to make you some food before we left!"

Naoto:"oh yeah, thanks!

Mr Naoto:"eat well now! We will be back now son! Bye!"

Naoto:"bye guys!"

He was now alone. He would eat the breakfast from his mother. It seemed all nice and calm for him. What reminded him of a green squid underwater, enjoying his morning without any distractions. This is how Naoto felt, at least what he thought.

Realizing both Nagatoro and Gamo are gone, it did reminded him of what Hana said to him. Could he really trust them? He knows them and he knows they're fun but alls serious too. But he's not too comfortable as it seems like if he needed any help

"Ugh.. look! If I really do need help they would obviously understand.. I think. Either my boundaries or my feelings!? Ugh.. I wonder what they're up to now.."

It was a jolly good morning for the yellow haired girl, Sakura. Waking up like it's another good day for her. All sunshine's and rainbows, eating breakfast, taking a shower, brushing her teeth, all shiny for a new day. She was mostly a joyful type of gal.

Mrs Sakura:"you seem to be in a mood!"

Sakura:"uh huh! Uh huh! Yeah! It's officially summer now! I can do anything I want now!"

She happily sprung as she said so, her mom was happy to see her happy.

Mrs Sakura:"haha. Let me guess you're gonna hangout witi your girls all day?!"

Sakura:"hmmmmm.. I could... but.. not sure whoooo with..."

Mrs Sakura:"hmmmmm... maybe.. oh! Maybe that one tall guy with the glasses?!?"

Uh oh. That gave Sakura an evil idea. Why not? But she did remember yesterday about the promise. She wants to give him the space he needs. But yet, she wants to hangout! Because it's fun! For her at least. She thought about it, and remain calm as she can wait, maybe.

Sakura:"yeahhh. But he's bit of a party pooper! If that makes sense!"

Mrs Sakura:"hmmm.. well. Maybe you're right I don't know the kid. Get him in this house!"

Sakura:"hmmmm.. it's not a badddd.. idea?..."

Mrs Sakura:"hmmm? You think so?"

Sakura:"yeahhh.. but he wants his little special space first! And then he can party with us!"

Mrs Sakura:"haha. Well if he needs space to himself, you should probably respect it!"

Sakura:"I-.. hmm.. well.."

She wasn't wrong. I mean, everyone needs their time alone, or some space. Maybe it's safer to wait tomorrow?.. or what?...

Sakura:"yeahh.. you're probably right ma.. I'll wait in the afternoon!"

She goes upstairs in her room, to go text Yoshi and her buddies as her mom laughs to herself.

Mrs Sakura:"hehe.. what a sturdy gal"

Meanwhile, time passes by, it was now nearing late afternoon. Naoto enjoyed his time, alone. Painting and sketching his canvas, all natural and all. It was the afternoon already, he felt calm. All peaceful. Nothing to distract him....

*ring ring*

Naoto:"hm? Who could it be?..."

He checked his phone, it was Nagatoro! He panicked a bit as he remembered immediately from yesterday, she would call him and the two girls to checkup on them. He would answer as he would call Nagatoro.

Naoto:"hello-"

Nagatoro:"Heyyyy Senpaiiiiiiii!!! How's it beeeen??!? Miss me already?!?"

Naoto:"alright alright!! Hey Nagatoro, it's been alright.. just pretty much chilling, sketching

Gamo:"oooooohhh!? But you ignored the question Paisennn!!"

Naoto:"h-huh!? What question?!"

Nagatoro:"did you miss us already!? I mean.. who wouldn't? We're both the best girls ever! Andddd we miss youuuuuuuu if you're wondering so you can use that as a thought so you can masturbate!!"

Gamo:"ooohhhh!?!~"

Naoto:"c-cut it out!! I wouldn't do that weird shit.."

Gamo:"butttttttt.."

Nagatoro:"do you miss usssssss Naoto!?!!"

His heart jumped as he had no choice, BUT to answer. He really did, he just has to say it in a way it won't be awkward or anything embarrassing for him to deal with from Nagatoro, knowing they can tend to tease, but much lately. So, it did somewaht made him, comfortable.

Naoto:"well... yeah.. I-i guess you can say I do miss you guys already, the girls too. If that's not obvious, but don't worry, we will make sure that.. we will hangout together to honor you two!..."

He awkwardly said at the ending. Great start, but rocky ending with the girls. So he IS going to hangout with the two girls then? To replace Gamo and Nagatoro for now?

Nagatoro:"....    Hehe! Aww Naoto! Hehe I get it, trying to act all cool and natural! But we appreciate it! And.. thanks.. im glad you miss us!"

Gamo:"mhmmm! And make sure to eat every snack I wanted to try for me!!

Naoto:"hahah! Alright alright got it!"

Nagatoro:"huh?.. okay! Gotta go now Naoto! Call you tomorrow! Bye!"

Naoto:"bye!"

Then she would hang up, leaving naoto all happy they're okay. And understand they miss each other. But something, just something that's just making his heart feel a bit, heavy. Maybe, he feels left out. It is summer break after all. Who wouldn't want to go out, even after spending all day in the house, calming and all. Then what else is there to do?...

Sakura:"lalalalalalalal!! I'm on my way! I'm on my way! I'm on my way to annoy Naoto! If only Yoshi could've came, could've been better but oh noooo! Wanna be all lame! That's why ima have many fun with Naoto tonight!... in the least pervy way as possible!"

Sakura makes her way to Naoto's place, remembering the promsie from yesterday. To not hangout until later in noon? Well, it is late-ish now. So now is a good time for her to come over and hangout witn Naoto.

Naoto was now watchin tv. Wondering in his mind......

What if, he and Gamo were dating? I mean she did HAD a crush on him. It's just unfortunately, the past events had changed her mind and made her needing to recover to 100% to possibly date. Maybe not now, but maybe in better timing, yes. Would he be a good boyfriend? He never truly, full on actually experienced a relationship ever, only dating the Art President.  But Gamo was different. She may bullied him, but she wasn't worse as Nagatoro back then. He's just glad they two didnt have an actual fight. To then break apart this friendship gang. He just wondered if, how would he be as a boyfriend to Gamo? She was beautiful, and nice when it comes to times when needed. If only, it was in a better timing.... If only....

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

Naoto:"huh?! They can't be here already? It's too early!"

As Naoto went in to open the door to expect his parents, he saw the tanned girl, bright yellow hair, beaming her smile at him. Sakura.

Sakura:"heyyy Naoto Senpai! Let's hangout now! You had your time meditating alone! Now it's time for fun!!"

Naoto:"uh......"
