The Naga And The Soldier (A Felarya Fanfiction)

Michael meets Crisis!

Michael woke up in a lush forest, and his heart pounded in his chest, and his breaths came in short, sharp gasps as he took in the unfamiliar surroundings of the forest. He wanted to scream for help, but he knew he might attract a predator and get eaten. The trees in the forest were massive! He saw the redwood and Sequoia trees when he was younger, but these trees were way bigger! On the tree, he saw a giant green snake! It looked really scary! He knew he had to be very careful if he wanted to survive!

Suddenly, he was approached by armed men. They are Telk pirates! "Looks like we snagged another one, boys!" Their leader said. He was a short black man, and they had a red sun symbol. "Listen to me, we are going to take you to our camp where you will live as a slave for the rest of your life! I know that doesn't sound appealing, but it is either that or you can get eaten by a random predator. It's your choice, loser!"

Michael didn't have a choice, so he agreed to the terms. "Alright, I will go with you." They cut his legs free but kept his hands tied, and they began leading him to their camp.

Seven years ago, coming to Felarya in search of treasures was declared to be illegal by all the human run planets. If you found a way to go to Felarya ,and if you came back, you were to be executed, and any riches you found were to be confiscated. However, many portals also began randomly taking people to Felarya. Ever since the adventurers stopped coming, the portals have become more frequent. The Telk pirates came to Felarya to kidnap them and enslave them.

Which is what they are doing to Michael. While they were walking, he overheard a conversation between two of the pirates. "Are you sure we should be here? I heard Crisis Hunts in this territory." The woman said, but the man she was talking to just laughed. "Don't worry, if that stupid Naga approaches us, I'll blow her head off! You see this big gun I'm holding? It's an anti-tank rifle! I will blow her brains out!"

Suddenly, a giant Naga appeared! She was blonde with beautiful blue eyes, and her tail had a teal color. Before the man could react, she grabbed the man, and he dropped his anti-tank rifle. Then she slurped him into her mouth and swallowed him! They all started running while she was picking up several of the pirates and gulping them down! Then Michael stumbled into a tree, and it was not a tree it was a giant insectoid creature! The creature looked at them with glowing red eyes! Even the giant naga was afraid. She looked like she was about to have a panic attack!

"Well, that about settles it. WE'RE DOOMED!" The leader of the pirates said before the creature grabbed him with its pincers and ripped him in half and began chewing him. All of them, including the giant naga, began booking it in the opposite direction! The pirates decided to sacrifice Michael to the giant insectoid to give themselves more time to escape! The woman kicked him towards the creature! It stepped on him, and it was about to kill him. However, it let him go so it could chase after the giant naga, which was the much bigger and tastier prey. He quickly untied his hands and grabbed the anti-tank rifle that one of the pirates dropped when he got eaten.

Michael spotted the giant naga. He had the drop on her! He was about to shoot her in the head when he realized that she was hyperventilating. Crisis's eyes were widened, and her breaths came in rapid, shallow gasps as she coiled her tail tightly around herself. It looked like she was really afraid of that insectoid. He was confused. He thought she was just a monster that ate humans. But at this moment, this giant Naga was acting like a human. Suddenly, the giant insectoid found her and attacked her! She screamed in fear as it pierced her with its spikes.

Michael started to feel conflicted. She just tried to eat him a minute ago ,but now she was the prey. He realized that he had no idea how to survive this jungle. He realized that if he saved her and was able to befriend her, then maybe she could help him leave this world. Against his better judgment, he decided to help her. He figured if he saved her, maybe he could befriend her, and she would help him
leave this awful place.
