A few days after the fight with Rhea, Crisis was still sad after seeing people she knew get brutally killed. However, thanks to the support of her friends, she was slowly improving. After her experience with humans, she knows that they are people like her and that they are not food. She's been feeding on Arboreal frogs and giant marsh vipers, among other animals. After Léa's kidnapping Crisis always took Lea and Michael with her every time she went out of the tree.

Crisis realized that Anna wasn't in the great tree anymore. She asked around and learned that Anna met with an old friend of hers and left around the same time Michael and Crisis first met. Crisis prayed that Anna would be safe wherever she was.

However, one day, she stumbled upon a group of humans. Knowing that many of the other predators will eat them with no remorse, she decided to help them.

"Hello, what are you guys doing?" The humans screamed! "Wait! Calm down! I'm not going to eat you! If I were, you all would be in my belly already! How did you come to Felarya?" Crisis asked. One of the humans finally spoke up.

"We were in a train that derailed. When we came too, we woke up here. Where are we? Can you help us?" Crisis nodded her head.

"You are in Felarya, and yes, I can help you, and I will! The only portal to leave this world is in Negav. But last time I took some humans there they were eaten by another predator and I couldn't save them." Crisis was very sad as she remembered that incident ,but she composed herself. "But there is a settlement called the safe harbor. It is meant to be a refuge for humans like you. It is protected by the gentle giantess Jade! Would you like me to take you there?" Crisis asked the humans.

"Yes! We would be so grateful!" Crisis smiled. Then she picked up the humans and carried them to the safe harbor. Michael was really happy to see how much Crisis has changed for the better when it came to humans. Lea was initially hesitant towards her new human free diet because she was worried that Crisis wouldn't get enough food to eat. Luckily, Crisis was a skilled huntress and gatherer, so she ate many animals and fruits. Although Crisis complained that animals didn't taste or feel as good as humans. Crisis was afraid that one day her instincts would force her to eat humanoids, but thankfully, it hasn't happened yet.

When Crisis arrived at the safe harbor, Jade watched her with suspicion. Crisis was a very voracious predator, so Jade wasn't too thrilled to see her. However, Jade was shocked when she saw that Crisis rescued humans and brought them to her harbor.

"Alright, everyone, this is Jade, the protector of the safe harbor! I know she looks like a sourpuss ,but don't worry, she will keep you safe." Then Crisis spoke to Jade. "Okay, Jade, they are all yours. Take care of them, okay?" Jade went awake and nodded her head.

"Thank you so much, Crisis! It could have gone very bad for us if it weren't for you. We are in your debt!" Crisis nodded her head and waved at them as they entered the safe harbor.

After Jade escorted the humans into the safe harbor, Crisis began to slither away, but Jade stopped her. "Crisis, wait!"

"Hmm, what's wrong, Jade? Is there something you need? Crisis asked Jade.

"No, I am just confused. You always told me that humans are just talking food. That my safe harbor made no sense. That you couldn't understand why I would go through such lengths to protect food. Why did you help those humans?" Jade asked her, and Crisis looked down in shame.

"I was wrong. I was fed humans since I was a child, and all my friends ate humans, too, so I didn't see anything wrong with it. Back then, I couldn't understand why you would protect food. But now I know why. You knew from the beginning that humans were just like us. You tried to tell me the truth, but I was too stupid to see it. But I know the truth now! If you don't mind, I would like to bring every human I find to you. As long as they aren't evil. If they are evil, then I will eat them." Crisis giggled.
