Pie's P.O.V.

My birthday was... a good while ago... but I'm STILL getting gifts, & it's so annoying- "Hey Pie!" I yelped slightly. "Happy Birthday!" I turned around & it was Tree. "Sorry I couldn't give you your gift earlier..." Tree sheepishly said. "It's okay..." I sighed. Tree smiled & Walked away. "Annoyed?" Fanny asked. I slightly jumped at seeing that she was beside me. "Yea..." "Wanna vent about it?" Fanny sat down on the ground, motioning for me to sit beside her. I sighed after I sat down.

"It's just that... My birthday was over a month ago, & people think that now is an appropriate time to give me gifts!" I kept on & on, ranting about it, & I think I went on about it for over an hour. At that point, I was bursting with anger, just releasing everything that I've held back for the last month. "Even my best friends- THE PEOPLE I CARE ABOUT THE MOST IN MY LIFE ARE JUST NOW GIVING ME GIFTS LIKE-" I was hushed by a finger on my mouth. "Calm down, take a deep breath, & tell me when you're calm again, so that we can talk more..." Fanny said. I did as she told me to. I took a deep breath & took note of my surroundings...

"...I think I'm ready to continue... Sorry for lashing out like that..." I apologized to the girl next to me. "It's okay. It used to happen to me, too. But I took advice from a friend of a friend... they told me to just be calm, & to breathe in & out when I felt like that..." Fanny said to me. I smiled. "Maybe I'll take that advice..." I giggled. "It'd be nice if you did..." Fanny said, while sitting on my lap as we both sat in the field.

"Wouldn't it..."
