crazies: a guide to the mdc

rant: the sash thingy

So recently, there's been this mdc sash thing going around. Its purpose is to show how mdc people are important because important people like mods have them, and someone thought, hey! we are important too! let's make a sash.

first of all, this is not meant to offend anyone at all. it's all just our opinion about this thing that people have been using. so before anyone starts writing hate comments, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. if you happen to disagree, please at least have some legit and mature pants on because we don't want to start any drama. 

the real first of all, it's a positive idea that is kind of useless. honestly, the sash itself is difficult to read, looks like a tiny piece of tape, and looks unflattering on the icon. the words look like their text size is 1pt, and the only way you know what it says is if you've seen the sash before it's put on. 

secondly, everyone is important. however, that doesn't mean you need a sash to show you're a part of the mdc or to show you're important. mods and ambassadors have sashes because they have special powers to move threads and whatnot or to help solve problems. it makes it easier to find them, and their sashes are their sort of uniform. as an mdcer, it means that you are actively involved and make graphics, but people have to realize that anyone can make a graphic regardless of the quality. you don't need a sash to show you can edit a picture and maybe even slap on some horrible text.

furthermore, since everyone is important, doesn't that mean everyone needs a sash? well, honestly, no. it's a creative idea, but if you're gonna make a sash, it doesn't have to be like everyone else's. you can personalize it at least. maybe even make it legible. you just don't need a sash to show you're a part of something.

i might as well put a sash on my icon saying that im a potato just to show that im a potato.

finally, if you currently have the sash, i honestly am not judging you. you can keep it, burn it, it doesn't matter to me. again, this chapter was not meant to offend anyone. i'm just voicing my opinion.
