Kayliah's room was a sanctuary of darkness, a realm where shadows ruled without question. The massive ebony bed, adorned with intricate carvings of ancestral patterns, seemed to drink in the faint light that filtered through the small, stained mirror nearby.

The room itself was a labyrinth of dark, polished wood and velvet drapes that seemed to swallow the light whole. The dim flickering torches that lined the walls cast eerie shadows on the ceiling, making it seem as if the darkness itself was alive and watching.

The mission to retrieve the coveted book from the radiant Sun Kingdom had unravelled in catastrophic fashion, and her mother, the formidable Queen Xylara, had exacted a brutal punishment.

Yet, there Aria sat, defying expectations, her presence a radiant beacon in the shaded clearing, like a sunflower blooming in the depths of winter. She was nestled between three large logs, her face basking in the warm sunlight that filtered through the leaves above, her skin glowing with a soft, golden light, as if the sun itself had taken residence within her.

Her tresses cascaded down her back in luscious, honey-hued coils, reminiscent of the sun-kissed treasures of the Golden Isles.
