He looked so much like Noah, both of them had wild green eyes and curly brown hair, but older. Colder. More dangerous.
I didn't know what to say, again. I felt like slapping his cheek, for pulling my dress up, but he also was helping me. Not that it gives him the right to pull my dress up everytime he wants.
But I don't know why.
"Don't EVER pull my dress up without my permission." I warned. "Not even a 'thank you, Harry?!" He joked looking in my eyes, making me deviate my gaze from his pale, wild green eyes. "Thank you, Harry."
He put his hand over mine and signalled me to let go of the shovel so he could start digging a hole for Josh's body. I easily let go of it and let him dig.
I looked at him, absorving his facial features, while he excavaded. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes focused at the job in hand, his plump and wet lips in a tight, straight line, but a moment after, I gazed at the ground below me."Sit down, or just walk around, instead of being there looking at the ground." He advised with a cold voice, like I did something wrong. "I'm sorry." I told him and started walking until I reached my parents grave and stood there for a few minutes staring and decided to sit next to it and ended poking the knee wound crust, which eventually I ended making it bleed.
"You're hurt on your knee." He quickly looked at me as he smelled the fresh blood. "Oh c'mon tell me you haven't been poking at your wound's crust."Harry spoke once again. "I have." I confessed. "You smell good." He shook his head. "So I heard. Are you going to kill me? " I tested him, being well aware I was pushing him to his limits. "I don't want to." He murmured.
You do. I can tell.
I could tell he wanted to, but was trying not to... and for things to go well, I decided to let the subject die.
"I would say that it's dangerous for a girl like you to be alone at night, in the woods, but I think you got yourself protected with a gun and a dagger." He broke the silence a couple minutes later, still focused at the task in hands, not glancing at me the entire time.
"A girl like me? Tell me what do you mean, because I don't understand." I responded a little bit too harsh than I intended to. "You know, human. It's dangerous." He moved his cold glare towards my eyes and gave a restrained answer. "Don't patronize me." I managed to say standing up to him. "I'm not." He stated, elevating his voice and raising his eyebrows towards me.
He honestly scared me, his eyes were cold and so full of hate it made my insides shiver from fear and curiosity, and my curiosity was taking over me, but I knew it was better for me to keep my thoughts just that, thoughts, or else... things could get bad really fast for me.
Harry's glare burned a hole through my soul. I didn't dare to take my eyes off him untill he did.
Things got quiet again before he broke the tension. "You never told me why did you kill him and why you want to kill Kyle." His voice had returned to the normal low and raspy tone. "I don't like vampires, I guess." I shrugged my shoulders and sighed. "Don't lie to me." "Look, I'm not going to tell you why so stop asking." I stated, realising I just snapped at him. "Oh m- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..." I trailed off really embarrassed and scared, and him staring at me in desbelief, didn't make things better. He exited the hole and just said " Do something and help me with the body." He simply said.
I got up and pushed the dead body to the grave only to Harry fill it with dirt again in a few minutes.
"Harry." I tried to catch his attention that was on the fresh and dirty ground. "Thea." He quickly focused his eyes on mine and I had his full attention.
