I open the front door of my house, i put my navy blue backpack. down. I see my parents in bed. "Hi y/n" my dad calls out as i try to sneak off into my room. "hi.." i say softly.

I may confess.. my parents are kinda abusing me. But i cant say anything... "Whats in your hand?" My mom says putting on her glasses "Uh nothing" my grip tights around the envelope in my hand addressed to my parents.

She gets up and yanks it out of my hand "So you're keeping mail from us!" She yells. I look down at my old vans. don't cry don't cry.

She opens it to reveal my grades

She reads it carefully "B+ y/n?" She cackles. I don't say anything "How stupid are you? When i was your age i had.". "Im not you.." I mumble under my breath "Hm? Sorry y/n I cant hear you i told you not to mumble." She hits the back of my head. "I said.. STEM and Math are kinda the same... I just got a B on my last test" I look at her. She scoffs "What a lame excuse." She throws my grades back at me "Take that nail polish off you look like a prostitute" She walks away. "What a disgrace to the family name.." My dad shakes his head.

I run to my room in tears and heartbroken.

Y/N POV:

"Y/n?" My boyfriend snaps me back to reality from my memory. "huh?" I look at him "Whats wrong?" He rubs my back "Just a memory" I mumble "Tell me about it!" Mason smiles. His smile is the cutest. "oh just about my mom" I shrug "Oh" He pauses the movie. I never told Mason about how my parents abused me ever since i turned 12.

"just she.." I bite my lip. "I was.." I try again. He furrows his eyebrows. "Did what y/n? You know you can tell my anything!" He smiles "I was..thinking about the time i first saw you on TV" I smile.

Flashback
Age:14

I sit on my bed and grab my laptop. I look up 'the black phone' I find it on a sketchy website but i don't mind. I click on it and make sure its on low volume so my parents don't hear. I watch it..

I come along a character name finneg blake. A shy smart boy, No mom abused by his dad.. Kinda like me but both parents.. His also kinda cute. I hear footsteps and switch tabs to math. "Y/n You got a A- On your math quiz?!" My mom yells "I.. I thought i did good" I look at her confused "A- is not 'good' A or A+ is what im looking for" she throws my dinner plate on the floor "No food." She scoffs and slams my door.

I run to the floor and pick up the chicken and rice. I eat with my hands. I wished i knew finney blake. I think we would be best friends..

End of flashback

"Oh" He smiles.. I only told him how i thought we would be best friends "You are my best friend" He kisses my forehead. He really was the only person i trusted.. "I love you" I smile at him "I love you moree" He hugs me. Mason was an angel.. his parents were the ones i never had. He was so lucky.. and he doesn't even know it.

He unpauses the movie and i cuddle with him,He stokes my hair ever so gently. A fight between a daughter and a mother.. I watch carefully...

FLASHBACK

"Mom.." I munble fiddling with my fingers
"Yes y/n?" My mom looks up from her tea.. "I wanna be an actress.. they are having.." I start "Nope!!" She cuts me off "what but its my dream.." I wipe my tears  "You can be a nurse or a teacher!" She smiles

"But i dont want to be a nurse or something like that.." i mutter.. "Too bad."

"MOM I WANT TO BE AN ACTRESS THO.. I HAVE THE TALENT.." i sob as my mom yells at me "NO Y/N!! YOUR GIFT IS USELESS.. YOUR GOING TO BE A HOMELESS PERSON ON THE STREET!!" She screams "Whatever." I lock myself in my room.. My heart aches.. I go in the website and apply to me and a actress
