What if krillin had saitamas potential (remastered)

Chapter 1

This story begins with the birth of krillin, krillin was then raised by the monks in the temples exactly the same way and circumstances that happened in canon. With the little difference being was when krillin had been bullied by the older students he actually could defend himself and even beat them all.

This leads to krillin over confidence being more displayed than it was in canon, krillin would train the same amount as his canon counter part with the only difference being that with his excessive amount of strength and speed he felt it wasn't necessary to learn and train in Marital arts. Eventually he got bored of the temple and had left going out to find roshi this time not for training but to take his title and be known as the strongest in the world. Although krillin is powerful I put him at a powerlevel of around 30.

The reason behind this is even though krillin at this point had done more training than saitama at this point krillin is a child so would see less improvements. But also since krillin hasn't been in life and death battles like saitama had gone through during his training krillin wouldn't adapt to any stronger than he is at this point. (Complete head canon but I assume this power level would be maybe around tanktop master at the start of season 2, if not a little stronger)

Either way, krillin sets sail and finds roshi much earlier than in canon due his increased in speed and stamina, when krillin challenges roshi he refuses. But krillin attacks him anyway, roshi defends himself surprised with krillins speed although at this point krillin doesn't stand a chance until out of nowhere against an opponent that's so much stronger than he is he just adapts and becomes stronger. Eventually krillin stamina gives out and roshi wins being tired himself, roshi forces krillin to be his student terrified about the potential future krillin may have with his untapped potential if he kept going down the route of being a violent delinquent.

Krillin doesn't accept this however but he had no choice since roshi forced him to train, meaning krillin and gokus first meeting would when goku went to look for the fan. Roshi didn't have it as krilln was there when roshi did his first kamehameha, although krillin tries to do the same thing he couldn't perform the move like goku could. The 2 return to the island now krillin actually motivated to train under roshi and by the time goku does come to train under roshi properly krillin would get a hold of the technique.

Although unlike canon roshi would have no reason so send them off to find launch so she isn't apart of the dragon ball team at all as she ends up getting arrested breaking out and living on the run. 8 months happen with goku and krillin training, a minor difference would be roshi would already be starting his training even before goku started his as he knows krillin will surpass him in short time but wants to at least beat him during the 21st martial arts tournament. 

As krillin is stronger so will goku become due to training and sparing with a stronger allie, the 3 become significantly stronger than they were in canon, due to krillin influence. But krillin skill and technique wouldn't be as good as he was in canon with his personality thinking that strength and speed is above things such as skill and technique. Roshi though wouldn't entirely fix krillins perspective wanting to inhibi krillins development just a bit for krillin to learn that he wasn't the best around. Though krillin friendship with goku woul help him settle into the person he was in canon being less of a jerk.

When the 21st tournament happened the primailries happened the same way in canon with exception that krillins old bullies would have give up before getting hit. The matches would still be.

Bacterian vs krillin
Roshi vs yamcha
Ranfan vs nam
Goku vs giran

Krillin would dominate his match with the same happening to roshi, nam would beat ranfan the same way in canon and goku wouldn't need the added strength his tail gave to break out of girans gum.
In the semi finals krillin and roshi fight, roshi would put krillin to sleep the same way that goku was asleep, however goku would wake up krillin as he starts fighting seriously. The fight continued with krillin and roshi fighting, when roshi thought he won krillin just kept on getting stronger loving the fight. Krillin though eventually hit his peak and it even surpassed roshi, but with roshi skill and technique he managed to win by default using a crafty strategy to having krillin step out of bounds without noticing. Also lied about the battle stating he wasn't at full power which krillin and goku bought.
