"Ben!" Mal shouts loudly once they are in the castle, hoping Ben would hear her.
"I got a scent, very pungent cologne, easy to track. Follow me, people," Dude says.
"That's great, Dude," Gill smiles.
"FYI, I give great cuddles, too."
"Really? I never had a pet growing up," Gill says. "Except for the elk head in Dad's man cave, but that's not really--"
"Hold up," Uma says, cutting him off. "What's this?" she gestures to huge scratch marks on the wall.
"Uh... any chance this was already there?" Carlos asks.
"And follow me!" Dude states again.
"Ben! Ben! Ben? Ben?" Mal continues shouting nervously as they walk into the armoury.
"Stay here. Okay?" y/n tells Celia, who stays at the entrance of the armoury.
"Y/n!" Dude calls.
Y/n jerks her head to Dude's direction and walks to him. "What is it buddy?"
"This place is weird. I'm picking up on a very disgusting smell, and I think we should leave."
"Are you sure?" she asks.
"So you can track, cuddle, and talk," Gill says, approaching Dude. "Hey, do you think his puppies will be able to talk, too?" he asks y/n. She laughs, and Gill slowly stroke's Dude's fur with a smile on his face.
"Alright, man. He's taken. You want a dog? Adopt a rescue," Carlos says with a chuckle as he approaches Gill.
"I hope I also find a dog who talks," he jokes, causing y/n to laugh again, a little harder this time. He smiles at her warmly, and the gesture doesn't go unnoticed.
"She's taken too," Carlos states, a hint of annoyance in his voice as he gently takes y/n's hand and lifts her onto her feet. He directs her back to their friends as Dude stays back on the steps.
"Talking puppies. That's crazy," he chuckles.
"Come here," Celia calls sweetly.
"He seems nice," Dude says, referring to Gill. He walks to Celia and she pets him gently.
"I bet you lost some sleep thinking about me on the loose, huh?" Uma asks Mal teasingly.
"No. Dragons don't really lose sleep. I wondered what fried octopus tastes like," Mal retorts sassily.
"Okay, why don't we not?" Evie says, attempting to keep the two from arguing.
"We're celebrating our differences," Uma jokes.
"I believe we're being challenged," Harry says from across the room, noticing how the armour on the display knights are slightly moving.
"Let's split up and look for Audrey," Uma instructs.
"That makes absolutely no sense. Unless you give me my ember, she's gonna spell you," Mal counters.
"Girls!" Harry calls, silencing the both of them. "We have a situation here."
The display knights continue moving, although not so subtly anymore. Pink smoke slightly surrounds them as they raise their swords and lunge at the VKs and pirates, who in turn grab weapons of their own and do their best to fight off the metal knights.
