The history goes as follows. Shou-long a nation that was Neutral for most of teh war suddenly declared war against the earth kingdom and waged a cruel war much like the fire nation. Their fearsome war machines destroying teh earth kingdom and its armies like paper.
My father tried to make them see reason but he was denied and labeled an enemy of Shou-long. Before long Shou-long had conquered much of the entire world turning their guns against their last foe the fire nation the Guardian of the south leading them The Shou-long armies marched against the Fire nation determined to destroy them.
Being the sniveling power-hungry coward she was Azula Surrendered the fire nation to the Army of Shou-long. In exchange for their unconditional obedience Princess Tanya allowed Her to maintain the position of Fire lord.
that is how the story goes as told by our ancestors. I however have travelled the world and seen the people fear does not appear in their eye sonly contempt and silent pleasure in the fact the war was over.
so begins my journey of truth. to discover what really did happen 70 years ago. I also still hold out hope that one day she will be ready to restore the balance.

The Grand empire a Nation forged by the hands of the Guardian who swore to restore peace to the world at any price stood as the dominate superpower in the world its once great enemy the earth kingdom now a shell of its once glorious past.
However knowing the odds of rebellion would increase with a direct military rule Tanya decided to allow the earth kingdom to still exists as a puppet state. She also made the united republic a nation that reflected the true desire of the Grand empress, The desire to unite the world under one flag in peace.
Tanya knew the avatar stood as a threat to her plans but she knew that if the empire found the Reincarnated spirit of the Avatar they could become a very powerful ally. Determined to capture her Tanya formed the Inner Guard the eyes and ears of the empire an organization given free reign of the entire world.
Tanya smirked from her throne in Zon-lao at the prospect of making the avatar bow to her and to make her see the logic of the futility of resisting The power of the empire.
