FOUR

CHRISTMAS DAY, DECEMBER 25TH
SOKKAS POV
I wake up to Zuko in my arms, I get up and realize what day it is! CHRISTMAS! I run downstairs and get 2 pans and start crashing them together and yell out "ITS CHRISTMAS!" and run around. I hear footsteps and stop for a second and see the entire gaang on the stair case all tired and dozy. "ITS CHRISTMAS GUYS!" I holler. "We get it!" Toph says and sucks her teeth."I guess Sokkas just trying to get a bit of the spirit in!" Aang looks at Katara, and she smiles. On the other hand Zuko looks really tired and just collapses on the couch. "I better get the food ready." Katara says and hurry's to the kitchen.
I sit down next to Zuko, and Zukos head just plops down his head down on my lap and I stroke his shaggy hair and put my arms back and relax. "Guys do you think we should sing some Christmas Carols?" Aang asks. "That's super cheesy" Toph says. I laugh, but be careful not to wake up Zuko, who looks so precious in my lap. 
ZUKOS POV
I wake up on a.. weird surface, that isn't my bed.. I look around and realize I'm on Sokkas lap! "Oh man, I'm so.. So sorry!" I blush furiously and get up quickly.
SOKKAS POV
Suddenly I feel movement on my lap and realize Zukos awake. Before I can say anything, he apologizes profusely. He's so cute.. HUH? uhhh...
"Guys come to the table, foods ready" Katara calls out. "Mmm! it smells delicious" i reply back, practically sprinting to the kitchen. I quickly sit down and get a fork ready to dig in until Katara takes it away. "Wait for everyone else!" She scolds. I roll my eyes. Aang and Zuko laugh, I've never really seen Zuko laugh. Cute-WAIT! What? You like Suki, right? Right. anyway after everyone gathers round the table we all say what we're thankful for.
"I'm thankful for each and everyone of you! Sokka, Katara, Toph, and even you Zuko. I'm so happy I get to spend Christmas, with my best buddy's!" Aang says.
"I'm thankful for my brother, who can be a pain, Toph, Aang of course, and you Zuko." Katara says.
"I guess I'm thankful for you guys or something. But I am thankful for my last name, comes with the perks y'know?" Toph brags.
"I'm thankful for err.. Kataras double fudge chocolate ice cream pudding with the little whipped cream flowers! and you guys too i guess. Oh and aunties blubbered seal jerky, and those little kisses gran gran gives when you get a boo boo, and also I'm thankful for my basketball team, they're the best. Hmm.. Oh an-" I say before i get cut off by everyone looking at me. "Oops , sorry" I reply to the silent looks and everyone bursts out laughing, even Zuko chuckles.Which i lov- no, i like Suki. Right? right.
"Now let's dig in!" Toph says, and we all get our portions and eat.
1 HOUR LATER , PRESENT OPENING (this is really long so you can skip if you'd like.)
ZUKOS POV
Everyone gathers around the glowing christmas tree.
"Finally it's time to open the gifts!" Toph exclaims. Everyone sits on the 2 sofas and Aang goes first.
"This one is from.. Katara! it has a little heart on it, aww!" Aang looks at katara sincerely
"Oogies..." Sokka whispers to me, his breath tickles my ear and it makes my heart flutter, gosh...
"You got me a...pair of traditional Air Nomad clothing! Oh thank you so much!" Aang squeezes Katara in a hug tightly. Katara giggles. "Oh just make out already." Toph points out, Sokka laughs.
"This one is from.. Zuko, I wonder what you got me Zuko!" Aang exclaims. he opens the present to see a cologne. I fluster up fast.
"Well, I don't really know what you like so.." I mumble.
"It's fine, I love it!" Aang replies. He's such a sweet boy, too wholesome for this cruel world.
"This one is from Sokka!" Sokka chuckles. "You got me... a sky bison plushie!"
"Sure did" Sokka says proudly.
"And this last one is from toph, who got me.. who MADE me.. a sculpture of myself! Awesome! Thanks toph!" Aang runs up to hug her but is met with her palm in his face holding him back "Hold the hugs for another good time".
Katara goes up to open her presents. "I'll be opening up Sokkas first, and Sokka got me, a pretty bracelet! Aww! thanks Sokka, your the best!"
"I'm aware." Sokka crosses his legs, and quickly is met by katara water bending some water on him and giggling. i can't help but to crack a smile. "I'm gonna go change.." Sokka slumps over to his room and Katara continues.
"From Aang, I got, perfume! Oo! I've been wanting this for a while, thanks so much Aang!" Katara squeals, and Aang blushes. "And Toph, you got me a.. earth .. model.. of... me? thanks!.." Katara says slowly. "Ya welcome." toph replies,
"And from zukoo.. A body scrub! and it's ocean scented" Katara sniffs the scrub I gave her and smiles. It makes me feel warm inside. Suddenly Sokka enters the living room, shirtless! Frickin shirtless! It's not a bad sight but shirtless!
"There were no clothes... I was going to go shopping but.. yeah..." Sokka says. "I've seen worse" Katara states. Toph chuckles and Aang stays silent.
"Alright, now it's my time to see what you all got ME!" Sokka hollers and makes his way over to the tree. "First we got.. Aang. Who got me.. a jacket? A Jacket! nice. It even has the little water tribe sign, logo, thingy on the back, thanks aang." Sokka turns his head to aang, who's smiling. "And lil sis, you got me SHOES! FINALLY YES!" Sokka yells out and hugs Katara. "Your the best!" Sokka exclaims. "I'm aware" Katara replies. "Okay you are so lucky I am not a bender". Everyone laughs. Sokka then returns to the tree and opens the gift from Toph. "Okay before I open this, I'm pretty sure this is a mini statue of me." "How'd ya know?" Toph says as he opens the gift and Aang giggles. Lastly, from Ziki! I got.. A flying lemur plushie! How cute!" I turn my head and look away.. "It's the best one I found." I say. "I'm sure it was" Sokka says as he kicks the present wrapping under the couch and sits back next to me. "I guess it's my turn now huh?" I say and everyone nods. I go under the tree and open Kataras gift first. She got me a book series. "Oh I've been wanting this book for a while! Thanks so much 'tara. Is it okay if I call you that?" I thank her. "Your welcome, and yes you can call me that" she smiles. I open up Aangs next, who got me a manicure.. kit..it's unusual, but I thank him anyway. Next is Toph which we all know, got me a little statue of myself. And lastly Sokkas. I open it up and it is a shirt, that says "Water guys Fire guy" and suddenly he pulls out a shirt that says "Fire guys Water guy". He got us matching shirts. "You got us matching shirts?" I say. "I got us matching shirts!" He puts his hands up in excitement. Cute. He quickly covers his body by putting the shirt on and I can't help but to also put it on. We spent the rest of the afternoon just having fun and sharing the christmas spirit. Toph said that she didn't need any gifts and would be better with none. We're leaving tomorrow sadly. I had fun.
