Alpha is driving the car towards the limits of the city, with Seokjin as his co-pilot.
They're on their way to check on the improvised cocaine factory they build up at the ends of Seoul.
— So you took me and not your brother to make the job?
The Commander broke the silence after around 40 minutes driving.
— The job in the HQ couldn't be left in your hands alone. It was better if Haruka stood there and you came with me, so I can keep an eye on you.
— So I would be wronged if I said I came with you because you argued with your brother.
— Yes, you'd be wronged.Silence settled again.
But there's so much to be asked by both Seokjin, that he simply started a new conversation again.
— Jimin can't be excused for what he did. — Seokjin's eyes stopped looking out the window to focuse only on Alpha's driving form.
— He betrayed not only my trust but yours, as well. So yes, he can't be excused.
Her posture didn't change a bit, but the light in her eyes flickered for a second.
— He can't be excused, but I like to apologize on behalf of his doings. You put Alpha on his hands, and he sold it off to your enemy.
— The doctor left you to die in my hands, and you're apologizing on his behalf? — She sounds genuinely surprised. — You must appreciate him that much.
Seokjin scuffed, like he was mocking himself for admitting the next.
— He joined in odd conditions to our group, but I saw ambitions on him, so I accepted him, and eventually, I got to warm up to him. He stole a part of me, so now, even if he came today to laugh on my face, I'll still wonder if he's okay.
— A real bond that is. — She concluded. — Don't blame you, though. It is easy to warm up to him. He is that charming.
Commander frowned at those words.
— You liked him?
— Wouldn't have shared my lowest state with him if I didn't.
— That's not very smart of you.
She chuckled.
— You think? — The car is moving slower. — We're here.
The couple left the car and started to walk to the warehouse in the middle of abandoned roads.
Alpha makes her entrance, and everyone stops their job to greet her and the tall man beside her.
— How's production going?
The pharmaceutical workers explain the entire process and struggles in detail. She'd make some changes to the working process while Seokjin whispers suggestions to the leader from time to time.
— This is the final result. — The one in charge of packaging shows Alpha the small sealed bags that are ready to be sell-off.
— Nice. — She inspects the bag in her hand.
— Should we start distributing them right now, or should we wait for the next production batch to start the sale, Ma'am?
She seems to doubt her decision.
— Our selling points might be targeted...
— But Alpha needs money. — Seokjin interrupts. — Why don't you use Bangtan's selling points to start out of the spotlight? — Alpha weighs the idea. — The money can be inverted back to this factory.
