Kaitlyn's POV

"Run Kaitlyn," Riker yelled, "I'll hold him off." The rain pelted down on us soaking our clothes in the process.

"No Riker you can't," I protested. I grabbed his hand, and he shook it away.

"Kaitlyn go now," he argued.

"NO," I cried. Riker kissed me then shoved me away.

"Go," he yelled. Riker took off in the direction we had just came from.

"No Riker you'll get killed," I yelled. It was too late Riker was out of sight. The next thing I heard petrified me. A gun shot, and Riker's scream.

"Riker," I screamed, and sank to my knees. The next thing I knew Riker came limping towards me clutching his stomach. He fell right in front of me, and I quickly put his head in my lap. "R-Riker," I stutter.

"Kaitlyn," he paused, "I-I l-love y-you." I could see the life fading from his eyes, and before I knew it he was gone.

"I love you too Riker," I cried. As soon as I said that a gun cocked.

"It's been really nice knowing Kaitlyn," Bill chuckled. I looked up to meet the barrel of a gun. "Bye Bye," he laughed and pulled the trigger.

I shot up from my bed panting, and crying. I wiped my eyes, and got up from my bed. I walked to Riker's room, and silently opened the door.

Thank god he's still here. I walked over to him, and poked his arm.

"Riker," I whisper yelled, "Can I sleep with you?"

"MMM," he mumbled, and flipped over onto his back.

"Riker," I poked him again, and he sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Kaitlyn?" he questioned, "What's wrong?"

"I had a bad dream," I mumbled, "Can I sleep with you?"

"Sure," he smiled softly, "Come here." He lifted the blanket, and I curled up next to him. He wrapped his arms around me, and kissed my forehead. "Night Kaitlyn," he mumbled.

"Goodnight Riker," I mumbled. Riker fell asleep right away, so I watched him sleep. He's so cute when he sleeps.

"Stop watching it's creepy," he chuckled. I laughed, and cuddled closer if that was even possible. Before I knew it I was out like a light.

Riker's POV

I felt like I didn't sleep at all. Time flies so fast when you're sleeping. Before I closed my eyes it was dark then when I opened them, the sun was burning my eyeballs. I looked at Kaitlyn, and found her fast asleep so I decided to go make breakfast.

I didn't bother getting dressed, because this is my house I can walk around in my underwear if I want to. Heck maybe I'll go naked and take off down the road......NAHH that would be weird.

I went downstairs, and into the kitchen. I decided to make waffles, eggs, bacon, and sausage. When everything was done I laid it down on the counter, in a nice row. Then Kaitlyn came into the kitchen.

"Perfect timing," I smirked, and handed her a glass of orange juice. She took it and laughed. After I poured myself some orange juice, we got our food and sat down at the table.

"Thanks for letting me stay in your room last night," she smiled, and took a sip of her orange juice.

"No problem," I smiled back, "Can you pass me the syrup?" She nodded, and slid the syrup over to me.

Kaitlyn's POV

I wish everyday could be spent like this. Just me, Riker, and food. No Bill, no rules, no cutting.... just us.

We were in the middle of a conversation, when the doorbell rang. Riker and I gave each other a confused look.

"I'll get it," I mumbled. I walked into the kitchen, and grabbed a knife just in case it's an unwelcome visitor.

I walked over to the door, and opened it. To be honest I wish I hadn't.
