Chapter 1

                              Taraji's Pov

UGHHHH today has been such a long day I have met with more than enough families today to talk business. I just can't wait to get home and lay in my california king size bed.
"Hey Raj what you still doing up in here I thought you'd be gone by now" Mary peeped in the office asking me. "Yea, I know I'm about to head out right now just looking at a couple things.What about you are you about to head out?" I looked up asking her. "Yea I sure am, I will see you later love you boo" "I love you to babes see you later".
After Mary left I packed my stuff up getting ready to head out I can't wait to step down to hand the keys over to my baby Keith I can't believe its almost that time it seems like just yesterday he was learning how to walk. As I made it to my car my phone started to ring "𝓜𝓸𝓶𝓶𝔂✨" flashed on the display in my car. I answered her call as I started the car pulling out"Hey precious" "Hey ma how are you, are you ok?" "Yes I'm fine I was calling to let you know that tomorrow night your father and I are having a dinner with the Barrinos and want you and the boys to come" "Ughh ma you know on my off days I just like to stay in and you know how the boys are it's the weekend I doubt they are even gonna be home" I sighed shaking my head. "I know that but your father would like to have a nice meal with his old buddy and family and would like your three little narrow asses at that table as well to catch up" "fine ok ma the boys and I will be there I will make sure give dad a kiss for me I know you're there" I say rolling my eyes. I don't even know why they got a divorce still acts like they're married if you ask me I'd just say they were being extra. "Ok sweetie drive safe I love you" "love you to. Hanging up the phone i finally pulled up into my driveway.

I seen that the boys were not here usually their asses be here looking for some food. So I just decided to text them

you know that your grandparents
want us over for dinner so make sure your free tomorrow night at 6 no getting out of it
either so I better see y'all asses or I'm whooping ass love you goodnight 😘

Keith🫀: OK MA I WILL BE
THERE LOVE YOU TO GOOD LUCK GETTING
THAT PEANUT HEAD ASS NIGGA THERE

Marcel🩶: mmcht ma why do we have to go can't I just miss this one I got things to do and nigga shut up we know wherever there is food you are there lightbright ass

Mamabear🐻: Boy I said what I said you can damn read just fine

Marcel🩶: mannn alr

Closing my phone not even bothering to look at what Keith said back them two there are something else I really see why they said all the hell you give your parents is gonna fall right back on you when you have kids and imagine that x2.
Going upstairs I go to prepare myself for bed and my shower.
An hour later I am finally in my bed only preparing what is to come for tomorrow.

Waking up to the sun shining in my face I look at the time to see it is 8:45 I get up and do my routine and head towards the kitchen to see what breakfast my housekeeper Jaunita has made.
Making it to the kitchen I see Jaunita and these greedy ass sons of mines.
"Goodmorning everybody" "Goodmorning mother dear" Keith said walking up to me kissing me on the cheek. "Morning dukes" Marcel said throwing up his piece sign. "Why do y'all greedy asses always come here to eat up all my damn food y'all got y'all own house eat there" "Oh ma you know good and well you love it when come here yo mean ass don't have no friends so I know you be lonely" Marcel said. "First of all I-" "Aht auntie Mo and auntie Gina don't count because they are the only ones that can put up with you and auntie Mo is worst than you so y'all were bound to be friends" I look at him and roll my eyes while keith busts out laughing like it was that damn funny "Oh shut your ass up and it ain't that damn funny" "it was he got you on that one ma" Keith said as he was talking my phone started to ring "𝓑𝓘𝓖 𝓖𝓘𝓝𝓐🩵" appearing on the screen "oh look Cel she may actually have friends" " Nigga please we know who dat is." I rolled my eyes at them and answer the phone "HEYYYYYY BITCH WHAT YOU DOING FOR THE DAY AND DON'T SAY WORKING CUZ WE DON'T WORK ON SATURDAY ONLY IF ITS AN EMERGENCY"
"Hey chic and first off why are you so loud its morning time shut that shit up and secondly for your information me and the boys have to go to dinner at boss folks house tonight" I said "wasssupp auntie" Keith said "hey boo"

After talking to Regina and Mary who ended up joining the call we talked about what we were all doing for the day then after that I went to my gym to get a little workout in before it was time to start getting ready for dinner gotta keep this body together.
Finishing up my workout I seen that is was now 4:46 so I decided I better start getting ready now so I head up to take my shower and find what I wanted to wear I decided to wear finally I chose this red dress that showed off my curves a little bit cause why not with a little ruffle at the bottom and some black heels with different gems on them. Looking in the mirror I admired myself thinking I looked damn good

I check the time and see it is now 5:45 so I head out the house to the car, I decided I didn't feel like driving tonight so I called my driver. When I made it outside chance greeted me and opened the door helping me in in closing the door
During the ride there I was just thinking about how the dinner was gonna go I loved the Barrinos I just didn't feel like having to interact with people today and not to mention Lance little young ass flirting all the time but I just thought it'd be nice because it has been a long time since I have seen them. Looking out the window I see us pulling up to the Mansion. Taking a deep breath I say to myself "whew here we go let's get it over with" as chance opens my door helping me step out.
