Fantasia's pov
Looking at the time I see it was almost time for Kendal to drop the kids off from school. Closing my laptop for the day after finishing up my work because I decided to work from home not feeling like going in. I walked into the kitchen to find out what to fix for dinner tonight for the kids and I, I just decide on steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes and broccoli as my side. I hear my door open and hear footsteps so I know it's the kids coming inside the house, "MOMMMMYYYY" yelled out my little one as she ran towards me jumping in my arms "hey mommies baby how was school today?" "It was good mommy" "oh please Keziah you know your teacher said you were not good today and hey mama" Dallas said walking in with Kendal following behind him. "Right the teacher said lil diva had a smart mouth today" Kendal said looking at her. "Oh brother give me a break" Keziah said dramatically " it's not my fault that that little boy didn't know what 2+1 is he said 5 and I told him hows you not know that easy question did your mommy teach you how to add and Ms. Franklin told me to be nice and I said I will bes nice when we learn to add right" I couldn't do anything but look at her and shake my head putting her down I said " what are we gonna do with you anyways y'all go put your stuff up and wash up to get ready to eat after that you guys are going to Pop Pop and Mimi's house" They both said yayyy rushing up the stairs. I looked over to see Kendal still standing there "What your bald head ass still standing here for" "Dang I can't a hey or wassup give me a hug girl so I can head out with your rude self" " you don't need a hug from me you can go and get that hug from your lil fiancé at home" I tell him pushing him out the door. "Oh so it's like that today ok then and I may be bald head but you ain't too far from me" I burst out laughing closing the door today. Kendal and me have been divorced for 3 years now but we still are friends and co parent together we just didn't work out I like it this way though. I head back inside the house to start on dinner for the kids so I can drop them off at my parent's house since they act like they never see them.
A couple hours later the kids and I finished eating and headed to the car so we can head to my parents house "okay come on Kezi so you can get fastened in" I say to her putting her in the car then walking around to get in the car myself looking over to make sure Dallas was in with his seatbelt fastened. As the drive to my parents house wasn't that long we finally pull up and see my mother standing at the door.
