Taraji's POV
I had my driver to take us to Fantasia's house since she wanted to go home so badly. We had a long drive ahead. I looked over at her and it looked like she was in deep thoughts so I decided to talk. "Why you so quiet?"
"Just thinking that's all" I decided to leave it there not gonna push it. To pass time i decided to get on my phone then I seen a text from Mary saying I needed to get to the warehouse. I texted her back saying I'd be there after I dropped Fantasia off ughh so much for my night and now I have to hear attitude. "Mark speed up a little" "yes ma'am" I guess she finally decided to speak "in a rush?" "Yes I have business to take care of" she let out a light laugh "at least I won't have to wake up and see that you left" she will really not let this go "Fantasia that was one time let it go and I wasn't planning on doing business tonight but it calls and they need me so I'm gonna make sure you get home safe and then leave" "yea ok Taraji do you" what the hell is she even mad for she didn't even want me to come at first then hasn't even spoken the whole ride this right here is why I say no to relationships.
"Why don't I ever see any security with you do you think you're invincible or something?" "I don't think I'm anything and just because you don't see them doesn't mean they're not there and you need to start checking your surroundings more just because your not actively involved doesn't mean your still not associated with it whether you like it or not" I said to her in a serious tone for her to understand.
"What makes you think I'm not aware?"
"For one if you were aware you would have noticed that two cars have been following us this whole time you also would notice that I put security on you because you didn't have any and I was definitely not okay with that."
"Just because I'm not paranoid like you looking over my shoulder every 5 minutes doesn't mean anything I'm grown I have made sure me and my kids have been safe all this time I'm alright and I don't have security because I don't want it" I could tell she was starting to get offended.
"It seems like your the one who thinks your invincible and being grown has nothing to do with being careful and making sure you and your kids are protected it's good that you and your kids haven't been messed with amazing actually but that doesn't mean it won't and I'm not paranoid not once have you seen me looking over my shoulder I don't need to and I put security on you because as long as your around me I want to make sure you and your kids are safe I don't care what you want that's just to help me sleep at night"
She rolled her eyes and turned around to continue looking out the window.
After some more time passed we were finally at Fantasia's house and I could tell she was upset because she wasted no time getting out the car and going inside her house. I didn't have time for that though I knew I had to hurry because they were waiting on me.
AT THE WAREHOUSE
When I got here Keith, Mary, Regina, and Marcel were already here and they were filling me in on what was going on.
"So you mean to tell me these motherfuckas were behind this"
"Yea ma I was finally able to trace it and get into their network Vic didn't let just tell him about the warehouses and he met with them way more than twice" Marcel told me as he showed me the computer.
"Shit man it's always something Keith what do you want to do your in charge here now" he looked at me with a shocked expression then quickly masked it.
"Mo make sure everyone one is ready we are gonna go pay Esposito a visit we told him what would happen next time now the games stop and it's time for blood" Monet nods her head and walks off.
I knew he would make the right decisions when it came down to this because I trust him and now it is truly his time to show he isn't to be fucked with and now it is war.
"Cel make sure all the radios and stuff ready" "gotchu bossman" Marcel said patting him on the back. "Candy get the plane ready, Ma will you come?" "Only if needed" "I want you there when we send them a message of our own" "ok"
"Im going to make sure everything is right I'll see you in a few" he said to me before he walked out.
FEW HOURS LATER
We were on the plane getting briefed on what's to happen. We were going to Sicily we got word that, that is where Esposito is. If they really thought we were gonna let them get away with it they out they damn minds they killed 5 of my men and stole from my warehouse which costed money and we don't play about our money they took 5 of our men now we take out 10 and their head. We know by starting this war we are gonna be going against some crazy motherfuckers but we are more crazy and more powerful so if these Wops were smart they won't take it that far.
I finally got out of my thoughts and started listening to what was being said.
"When we get there everyone will need to turn off all phones and electronics I have already built a jammer so they won't be able to detect anything so we will be off the grid for the days we remain here. I have made new comms they are easier to work with you simply put it in your ear and they also have trackers. I have mapped out the whole building where they will be at on the holograms you all have. Lastly we have new alert watches to so when you give me the old ones I will give you the new ones are the bugs are fixed in these" Marcel said, I was honestly so proud of my boys they give me life each day.
"Every one will be split up once we get there we are gonna have team zero make sure all targets are where they should be. Teams Five and Two will be breaching and killing every last one of them in that building except for Esposito I want him alive team Three will be waiting on him and transport him to the extraction point and team Four you guys will be with Marcel and Candy on a special assignment now everybody relax until the ride is over then it's time for work" Keith followed up and said then taking his seat.
