Chapter 9

Fantasia's POV

3 DAYS LATER

I was currently in a zoom meeting going over the designs for an upcoming drop I had coming up I was actually very excited for this drop I have been working very hard for this and now I will finally be able to see all of our ideas come to life.

"Ms.Barrino is there anything else we need to go over?" Lauren said

"Umm no that is actually all, Danielle make sure all the contracts are correct and Keke make sure all the sponsors for event are still locked in" they all said ok in unison and we all left the meeting.

I was already at home I usually work home on Tuesdays. The kids were at school but I won't see them until Wednesday they were with Kendal tonight he works and has to travel so he gets them as most as he can.

I haven't heard from Taraji but that wasn't anything new. I didn't have nothing else to do so I decided to have my own little self care day. I went into my room to start getting ready.

A couple hours later I was out in the mall shopping I had just came from getting me a message which was very relaxing. Right now I'm in bath and body works looking for me some candles and more lotion because I'm running out.

"Excuse me ma'am" I hear someone say behind me I turn around and see a man talking to me.

"Yes?" "I was wondering if you could help me choose which one of these perfumes to get I don't know anything about this stuff"

I looked around tryna figure out outta all these people in here he comes asking me "sure which ones did you pick?" I ask him "umm this gingham ahh and sweat pea" "get them both" "well I guess that is the easier route" he says laughing I give him a small smile "yea it would"

"Well thank you for your help..." he reaches out his hand waiting for my name "Fantasia" I say shaking his hand "I'm Issac". "That's a beautiful name now how can I repay you for letting me take up your time" ohh he thinks he slick he is kinda fine though "oh it's no problem" "how about I take you for lunch whenever your free?" He says cheesing "wouldn't that just be taking up more of my time?" I say teasingly "yea but this time you will enjoy it"
At this point I just say to hell with it, it ain't no harm in it. "Where's your phone" he hurries up and grabs it out of his pocket handing it to me.

I type my number and hand it to him walking away before he can say anything else looking back at him I see him watching me with a smile as I walk up to the counter to check out.
