This was not going how we wanted it to go. But of course it wouldn't, women are just that way. Well at least Cecilia and Nova were trying to cooperate with us.

All the members were here, sitting in the biggest meeting room, because well, we were too many people to fit in any other one. Spade, Rebel and Tucker were at one side of the table. Next to Tucker at the far end sat Cici and Nova, sighing with annoyance at their own women.

Satan sat at the head of the table as always, glaring down at a very uncompromisable Anna Monroe. Everyone in that room had noticed what had happened yesterday between her and Satan, but no one was stupid enough to mention it.

Shaw, Riot, Raven and I sat on the other side as we tried to keep patient with these two younger ones. Anna was sitting at the end of the table, arms crossed over her chest, her foot at the table as if she was ready to pounce at any moment.

Marina was sitting right next to me, and she has not looked my way in the past half an hour we have been here at all. This woman was just annoying the living shit out of me. If she thinks she can just ignore me, then she's sorely mistaken.
"Look, Anna, we really need your help here. One of our own has been missing for a year now and no one knows where she might be." Spade started and Marina looked up at him, smiling. Oh great. And the fucker smiled right back at her!

Anna sighed and just continued staying silent. Nova decided it was time to cut this shit and thank god that she did. "Madelyn you said was her name. What's her last name?" she asked and Satan spoke up for the first time now, "Scott." he answered as he continued staring at Anna.

Everyone in that room, well, at least the women, were frozen now. Hearing the last name must have triggered something, since even Marina went quiet. "Scott." Anna murmured, looking down at her hands. Cecilia's eyes widened as she stood up from the table, eyes wide as she started pacing the room. Oh, fuck. Shit is not good.

"Do not say that name!" Marina snapped. Everyone was now looking at her. "Get Anna out of here, now!" she continued, standing up herself and helping a now very dazed Anna in her arms. She was still looking at her hands, blinking rapidly at them as if she was in some kind of memory fog.

"Sit down Marina." Nova ordered but Marina was now angry. "You can't do this! You know what happened, letting her stay here will fuck up with her head again!" Marina yelled at Nova who was not faced at all. "They need to know, they're the girl's family." Nova said sternly and Marina ignored her, trying to shake Anna awake again.

"Sit the fuck down." I ordered Marina after she put Anna back in her seat, still not recovered by whatever was roaming through her head. We all knew what that was like, all of us were army veterans and the shit we had seen was haunting us everyday. Which made us all wonder what was going on.

"Don't tell me what the fuck to do, Rift." she spat out my name, turning towards me as I stood up, towering over her. "Sit, the, fuck, down, now, woman!" I growled and she was once again up in my face, "Why don't you try asking nicely, Mr Mc Grunt." she roared, taking aback all of the men, especially myself. "You did not just call me that." I said firmly and she raised a brow at me, all defiant like. "Are you deaf too, Mc Grunt?" she asked, arms on her hips, a smirk tugging on her lips.

Spade chuckled from the other side of the table, making both of our eyes turn to him, he winked at Marina who was now smiling at him. "What the fuck?" I asked both of them now but none of them answered. Something was going on between them and I don't fucking like it!
Rebel was still watching Anna, as well as Satan was. She had calmed down, her eyes focusing on Nova's, unspoken words were exchanged between them and Anna sighed in defeat, slumping down in her chair. "It's bad isn't it?" Rebel asked Nova and she shook her head in defeat. Cecilia had stopped pacing, tears stung her eyes as she tried to stay calm. "Sit down." Anna growled at her, clearly not liking the turn the room had taken. "Sit, the, fuck, down." Anna growled and got up from her seat and stood right in front of Cecilia who had a soft look in her eyes now. Who in their right mind looked at a crazy bitch like Anna Monroe with soft eyes? Crazy fucking bitches. I sighed and waited as everyone else did too.

"My patience is running thin." Satan said in a low tone after a while, both women had sat down and no one spoke a word in that room for over ten minutes. "I don't give a fuck about your fucking patience." Anna barked at him, and God dammit I think he probably had her killed in his head already. That can't happen, we need all of them alive.

"Be nice." Nova warned Anna and she turned her head away, shutting her trap once again. "Well, it's time you answer our questions now." Shaw said, softer than anyone would expect. I raised my eyebrows at him and he shook his head.

Marina looked at me with greeted teeth as she bounced her knee up and down. Grabbing her thigh under the table, she bit her lower lip and stopped the annoying movement she was making, eyes averting mine now. "We'll talk later." I said in a whisper to her ear. Spade's eyes on both of us, as well as Rebel's curious ones.
