The walls of the station reverberated with the aftershocks of the explosion, sending tremors rippling through the corridors. Charlie's heart raced as she observed the grim aftermath. The blast from the medical bay had wreaked havoc, leaving behind a scene of devastation that spelled doom for the station. Through the haze of smoke and debris, she noticed alarming signs: fractures snaking across the walls, support beams twisted out of shape, and ominous creaks echoing through the metal structure. Carter's keen instincts honed in on the source of their impending catastrophe. He grimly pointed out the telltale signs of a failing stabiliser, undoubtedly compromised by the force of the explosion. As the realisation sunk in, a sense of urgency gripped them both, knowing that time was running out to prevent further disaster.

As they pressed forward, a deafening explosion erupted above them, sending shockwaves rippling through the corridor. Charlie and Carter were thrown violently sideways, crashing into the walls as the station convulsed around them. The roof above cracked and groaned under the strain, ominous fissures spreading like veins across the metal surface. Beams of scalding steam hissed and shot down from ruptured pipes, adding to the chaos. Through the chaos, the automated voice of MOTHER pierced the air, its warning ringing out with urgency.

"Warning: Orbital Stabilisers failing. I repeat: Orbital Stabilisers failing. Please evacuate shortly."

The gravity of the situation sank in as Charlie and Carter exchanged anxious glances, knowing they had to act fast to escape the impending catastrophe. Their frantic footsteps echoed loudly against the metal floor as they sprinted down the long tunnel, the urgent rhythm of their movement reverberating through the corridor. Above them, more pipes burst with a deafening roar, spewing scalding jets of steam that billowed down toward them like relentless waves. The air grew thick with the acrid scent of metal and burning machinery, adding to the sense of urgency driving them forward. Every step brought them closer to the end of the tunnel, where safety lay in the form of an escape route from the chaos engulfing the station.

As they sprinted desperately toward the end of the tunnel, the echoing growl behind them sent a shiver down Charlie's spine. Glancing back, she saw the Xenomorph barreling toward them on all fours, its sinewy form moving with unnerving speed. With a gasp, she urged Carter onward, their adrenaline-fuelled strides propelling them closer to the looming door at the tunnel's end.

As they reached the closing door, they dove forward, sliding under just in time to avoid being trapped. Charlie's heart pounded in her chest as she looked back, witnessing the Xenomorph's furious charge halted abruptly by a cascade of flaming debris. The roar of the collapsing roof mingled with the creature's dying cries as it was crushed beneath the rubble. But their momentary relief was short-lived as the acidic blood sprayed against the door, sizzling and melting the metal with alarming speed. With a sense of urgency, they pushed forward, their footsteps echoing against the metal floor as they raced against time to escape the encroaching danger.

Their hearts racing, Charlie and Carter sprinted down the dimly lit corridor, the sound of their hurried footsteps echoing off the walls. Around them, they heard the unsettling scurrying of unseen creatures, sending a chill down their spines. Suddenly, a vent above them rattled, and with a menacing hiss, another Xenomorph emerged, dropping down directly in their path.

Reacting swiftly, Carter grabbed Charlie's arm and yanked her out of sight just in time as the creature landed with a heavy thud. Its eerie growl reverberated through the corridor as it sniffed the air, detecting their presence. With a menacing glare, it dropped down on all fours and darted off down the hallway, its agile form disappearing into the darkness. Breathing heavily, Charlie and Carter exchanged a tense glance before cautiously continuing on their perilous journey, acutely aware that danger lurked around every corner.
