As the Grafton approached the docking platform, its once sleek hull now marred by scars and battle damage, its large spotlights illuminated the area, casting a bright light through the windows and onto the docking platform. The beams of light revealed the Xenomorph standing at the edge of the platform, its elongated silhouette outlined against the backdrop of the station's wreckage. The Xenomorph turned its head, its dark skin gleaming in the harsh light, as if acknowledging the arrival of the ship.
Charlie, Captain Henry, and Judy stood together, their eyes fixed on the monitor displaying the Xenomorph's movements in the docking platform below. The creature prowled around, its menacing presence palpable even through the screen.
Captain Henry turned to the others, his expression determined. "We need to distract it. Lead it away."
Judy glanced back at the monitor, her brow furrowed in thought. "Can we use the weapon systems to blast the fucker?"
Charlie shook her head. "The airlock is on the other side of the dock, we won't make it without a suit."
Charlie's voice trembled with determination as she spoke. "Okay, I'm gonna go down and see if I can lead it away. I'm gonna crawl out and lead it down into the transit station. Captain, can you call a transit cart? I'm gonna try and trap it."
Her plan was risky, but it was their best chance to distract the Xenomorph and buy time for the others to escape. She looked back at Captain Henry and Judy, her eyes reflecting the seriousness of their situation. With a deep breath, she turned and headed towards the exit, ready to put her plan into action.
Charlie moved with the utmost caution, her heart pounding in her chest. She reached the door and dropped to her hands and knees, her palms pressing against the cold, metal floor. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself, and then carefully peered under the door. The narrow view revealed nothing but the debris-strewn floor of the docking platform. The Xenomorph wasn't visible, but she could feel its presence, an ominous weight in the air.
She swallowed hard and pushed herself slightly further, her eyes straining in the dim light. The distant sounds of the creature's movements echoed faintly, sending chills down her spine. She knew it was close, lurking just out of sight, waiting for the right moment to strike.
Determined to carry out her plan, Charlie inched forward, her body tense and ready to spring into action at the slightest sign of danger. She had to lure it away, no matter the risk.
Charlie slithered out from under the door, her movements fluid and silent. As she rose to her feet, her eyes darted around the room, scanning for any sign of the Xenomorph. The docking platform was eerily silent, with only the distant hum of the station's failing systems providing any sound. The creature was nowhere in sight, and a cold dread settled in her chest.
Her gaze fell to the floor, where a large metal pipe lay. One end had snapped away from the wall, the jagged edge gleaming menacingly in the dim light. Charlie crouched and grabbed the pipe, feeling its weight in her hands. It was heavy and solid, a crude but effective weapon. She held it by her side, the sharp end pointing downward, and began to move.
Her steps were slow and deliberate as she made her way towards the exit of the room. She kept her body low and her senses alert, every nerve on edge as she expected the Xenomorph to appear at any moment. The air was thick with tension, each step echoing softly against the metal walls. She reached the exit and paused, taking a moment to steady her breathing and listen for any movement. The creature was out there, somewhere, and she had to be ready for it.
As Charlie cautiously made her way across the room, her senses were on high alert. The air was thick with tension, every sound amplified in the eerie silence. With each step, her heart pounded in her chest, a constant reminder of the danger that lurked nearby.
