[Upward, Checkpoint C: 06/13/XX]
[1200 hours]It was another hot and sunny day on the battlefields of Upward, with the sun shining bright and brazen at its apex. From within a building located near checkpoint C was the Engineer, fiddling with his machinery as usual. He stopped what he was doing to gaze towards the sky, with his hand above his eyes.
Engineer: "Sun's beating down like hell. Might sizzle up some bacon while we're at it." He said to himself, snickering.
The sounds of gunfire and explosions made him snap out of his thoughts and he turned his focus back towards his machines.
Currently on the front was his team, all doing their usual work of stopping BLU from completing their objective whilst also giving them hell at the same time.
Meanwhile, the Engineer settled down and built a well-manned nest snuggled right by checkpoint C to deter anyone who is either brave enough, or stupid enough, to flank behind his team while constantly keeping them sent to the frontlines fast with his high-tech teleporter.
The Engineer turned his attention to the constant pitter patter of gunfire before scratching his head with his wrench.
Engineer: "Guess those fellas are doin' a hell'uva good job keeping BLU from gettin' here."
His team seemed to be performing well on the front from stopping BLU in completing their objective, so Engineer took the time to continue tinkering with his contraptions and try to pass the time.
As he fiddled around with his dispenser, the teleporter next to him suddenly began beeping, seemingly starting to whir into action. The machine began to spin, gaining velocity as it did so. It managed to reach its initial max speed after a few seconds of spinning, and began to create a visible glowing red circle.
As the red glow steadily gleamed, the machine began to materialize a crimson silhouette out of itself. With the contour now formed, a figure quickly stepped down from contraption before it began to decelerate and turned towards Engineer.
Pyro: "Hmph Hm!" Pyro mumbled as they gave the Engineer a thumbs up.
Engineer: "Anytime, pardner." Engineer welcomed and patted their shoulders before continuing "Now, git' out there and give 'em BLUs hell for me."
