Determination.

Pure determination.

Don't try to take this from me
Don't try to take this from me
Now-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow

Don't try to take this from me
Don't try to take this from me
Now-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow

Brother and sister. Now, they were in their simplest form. They had been stripped down mentally, emotionally. They were like empty shells; well, not quite empty. What lingered within them was all that was left, and though it was little, it was in such strong doses that nothing else mattered to them.

The single, most basic human desire: to survive.

And probably more powerful than that basic human desire: determination.

Feels like I'm waking from the dead
And everyone's been waitin' on me
Least now I'll never have to wonder
What it's like to sleep a year away
But were we indestructible?
I thought that we could brave it all (all)
I never thought that what would take me out
Was hiding down below

Lost the battle, win the war
Bringing my sinking ship back to the shore
Starting over, we'll head back in
There's a time and a place to die but this ain't it

Walking through the battlefield, they marched. This time, they weren't losing. And together, they sang, "If there's a future, we want it
Now-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow!
If there's a future, we want it
Now-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow!
If there's a future, we want it
Now-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow!
If there's a future, we want it
Now-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow!"

The Sapphina Soldiers did not hesitate. They were confident. After all, the army of the brother and sister was outnumbered. But they overlooked the fact that if there was one thing never to be underestimated, it was courage in the face of death, something which they lacked.

There's a time and a place to die
There's a time and a place to die
And this ain't it
There's a time and a place to die
And this ain't it, this ain't it
This ain't it

Things were changing. Today. The revolution was coming, and it was inevitable, because rebellion against evil was an unescapable reality, and a pattern in history.
