The night had grown thick with tension as Collin and James huddled together in the dimly lit living room, their hearts racing in fear of the escaped man from the past.
Outside, the distant wail of sirens pierced the silence, a haunting reminder of the danger that lurked in the shadows.
Collin and James' parents huddled close, their faces drawn with worry as they debated the safest course of action. Should they stay and wait for the authorities to handle the situation, or flee in search of safety from the undead menace that now roams the town?
A sense of urgency gripped the room as Collin's dad made a swift decision. "We can't stay here. It's not safe. We have to go now."

Grabbing a few essentials and locking the doors behind them, the family made a harried escape into the night, seeking refuge from the malevolent presence that now plagued their once peaceful town.
Driving through the deserted streets, the eerie glow of streetlights casting long shadows across the asphalt, they kept a watchful eye out for any sign of the escaped man. The fear of the unknown weighed heavy on their hearts, each passing moment fraught with tension and dread.
As they reached their destination, a friend's remote cabin nestled deep in the woods, a sense of temporary relief washed over them. Collin's mom quickly ushered the boys inside, locking the doors and drawing the curtains tight against the night.
But as they settled in for the night, the air was thick with unspoken fears and
uncertainties, a sudden knock at the door shattered the fragile peace. Collin's mom froze, her eyes wide with terror, as she glanced towards the entrance.

The knock came again, louder and more insistent this time. Collin's dad cautiously approached the door, his hand trembling slightly as he reached for the doorknob.
Swinging the door open, they were met with a chilling sight. Standing on the threshold, illuminated by the pale moonlight, was the man from the past—his eyes dark and hollow, a sinister smile playing across his lips.
With a voice that sent shivers down their spines, the man spoke, "You can run, but you can't hide. I have come back from the dead, and I have unfinished business."
A wave of terror washed over the family as they stood frozen in shock, the man's words hanging heavy in the air. The battle between survival and fear loomed large, and Collin and James knew that they were now in a fight for their lives against a supernatural force that defied all logic and reason.

As the man advanced towards them, his presence exuding an otherworldly malevolence, the family braced themselves for the harrowing confrontation that lay ahead, knowing that the pursuit of the undead was far from over and their ordeal was only just beginning.
