~So, I have been into Solarballs, also just space in general, for quite some time now and I've found like barely any fanfics about Uranus angst. Or just Uranus in gerneral!! Uranus has so much potential to be written about so I don't know why there...
A/N - UGHUHRGIUHUBHIVDNB i have so many ideas but i cant write them yet because its not the right TIME FOR IT and its just AJNSKDAF UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I WANNA WRITE ABT WHY URA IS SCARED OF SATURN AND JUPI BUT ITS NOT THE RIGHT TIME TO AND ITS ANNOYUNG BC IDK WHAT TO WRITE
Neptune, contrary to popular belief, was NOT stupid. Of course, he acted a bit silly but that doesn't mean he's stupid, but apparently everyone believes he is, so he's taken up that role. Lately though, he's been having a harder time playing dumb around Uranus. He was always so closed off and unapproachable, or at least that's the impression he gives off. Neptune had gotten close to him centuries upon centuries ago, way back in the Proto-Era, when Uranus was more approachable and friendly, they were friends, but Neptune's orbit prevented them from spending lots of time together. So he'd disappear randomly on his orbit, Uranus would get worried and when Neptune next appeared, he'd ask where he had gone, checking to make sure Neptune wasn't hurt. Neptune would never tell him of course. He'd say 'I lost something in the asteroid belt.' This always earned him a light slap on the shoulder with Uranus scolding him about how stupid and dangerous it was. It eventually became harder to hide as his orbit changed and got longer, deeper into the asteroid belt. He became more alone than ever and resorted to talking to asteroids, but then he finally met Uranus again, he was...different. More shut off, more quiet, secretive...Neptune doesn't know what compelled him to say the words, but he did. He ran towards Uranus and called him 'cousin' eliciting a look of shock and confusion on Uranus' face, and another scolding on how they're planets and can't be related, but Neptune decided to continue calling him that after catching the small smile on Uranus' face.
Recently, Uranus has been much quieter though, not like he isn't already quiet, but more, hm how can Neptune put this...more interested in his diary, writing in it constantly, Neptune really wants to know why, but he's not going to look without permission!!...or if Uranus gets worse than now. But besides the point!! Neptune qould not do anything without a good reason or permission!!!...unlike some people...
Neptune sighed and looked down at his rock he was painting, he was never as good at painting like Uranus. His rock had the usual smiley face, just in pink instead of blue. He looked over at Uranus' which was...blank. Uranus was just staring at it, seemingly in thought.
"Cousin! Cousin! Look at mine, look at mine!!" Neptune shoved his rock into Uranus' face, startling him, he sighed and looked at Neptune unamused saying in a supportive voice, "It look beautiful. Exactly like all your other ones..!" Neptune nodded, holding it close, maybe it could be a sibling for Guillermo or even a girl friend!!! "Thanks Uranus!!" Neptune happily thanked Uranus for his kind words, but he then decided to ask, Uranus never got mad at him afterall...
"Why are Jupiter and Saturn watchin ya?" Neptune's voice was dumbed down, he needed to keep this act up so everyone would underestimate him until it was too late and he knew all their secrets! "Hm? They are?" Uranus turns and looks at the two gas giants, shootig them a glare when he realized they were watching him, he turned back to Neptune and sighed. "No reason Nep." Neptune look at Uranus, he really wanted to ask if he was okay, but that's not something his silly personality would do. "Okie! Hey! We should have a teaparty!!" "Good idea mate." "You wanna make the tea or set up the picnic?" "I'm no good at making tea, I'll set the place up." "Okie dokie!"
Neptune went off to go collect asteroids for his amazing special asteroid tea!!! That left Uranus alone as he went to another part in his orbit that had a boc labelled 'picnic' in neater handwriting than his art supply box. He dragged it back to the place where he and Neptube were gonna have the teaparty and he started unloading it. Taking out a checkered blankey, three plates and three teacups and all the tea making stuff. Including the small sugar cube tray. Uranus smiled. Earth got him and Neptune the tea party stuff, and so far the stuff was in perfect condition, even after being used over a couple hundred times.

Uranus really loved Earth, but was he even good enough for Earth? Earth was surrounded by amazing planets...and then there was just Uranus. Boring, plain, stinky. Earth always sent him letters though, so Uranus had to send some back. Out of politeness of course! Not because he wanted to drag out the conversations. Not at all.
Neptune was grabbing some asteroids, looking back at Uranus he sighed and shook his head. "Fuckin simp" He muttered under his breath, often he would find Uranus watching Earth in a dreamlike state. When he asked Uranus would just flush a dark cyan and avoid the question. Neptune assumed he was embarrassed at beung caught, but he soon realized that Uranus had a thing for Earth.
How did Neptune find out? He watched Uranus send Earth a diamond, something Uranus was always against the thought of doing. Well not always, his previous lover also got stacks of diamonds. But still, Uranus is against the thought of sending his diamonds to people he doesnt love. Neptune has not told Uranus that he knows just yet. He probably won't ever tell him that he knows about his crush. But it was still pathetic to watch Uranus blush over the smallest thing about Earth.
Neptune had collected a little too many asteroids and had to drop a few back off before he went to Uranus to make the tea. He went over and started making the tea wanting to see how long it would take Uranus to notice that Neptune was there.
"A-ah! Mate how long have you been there for??!" Uranus asked startled, "Oh! Awhile now!!" Neptune grinned childishly, it's been 30 Earth minutes. "...ah, right have you made the tea?" "Yup!!" Uranus smiled as Neptune pulled Guillermo out if the asteroid pile and started pouring the tea in the teacups, setting Guillermo in his spot on the picnic blanket.
The two happily had a tea party, finally not being interupted by the Gas Giants.
