Fort Independance, Captial Wasteland.

The Vertitibirds landed at the forefront of the Fort Independance, and the DCMP waited in anticipation of the unknown group.

"This the Metro Police! Come out with your hands up, or we will open fire!" One Metro Police Captain said over a microphone as he and the DCMP cops and SWAT aimed their weapons at the unknown group.

Tension hung thick in the air as the Metro Police issued their warning, the sound of weapons primed and ready echoing throughout the area. All eyes were fixed on the unknown group emerging from the Vertibirds, awaiting their response.

Suddenly, one of the doorframes of the Veribirds open up to reveal a group of Power Armor soldiers, by the looks of it, it seems that it was a T-41 and the old United States Combat Armor during the Great War. The Metro Police shudder in fear as they saw the sword in between gears, knowing that the deception is now over.

"It's the Brotherhood!" One of the Metro cops, an Enclave Veteran from Navarro, shouted as he pointed at the Power armor soldiers.

"DIE ENCLAVE!" A male voice, presumably the leader of this Brotherhood group, yelled before he open fired with a 20 Wattz rife, with others following suite.

The Metro Police duck into cover as the opened fired with their weapons, but they know that they can't penetrate the old but reliable armor that was in the Brotherhood's arsenal. They were trained to do Police work, not Military engagements, but they know that they needed to hold the Brotherhood off until the Army can arrive.

"We need to fall back!" One of the Metro Police shouted as he saw two of his buddies fall under the firepower of the Brotherhood.

"We Can't! We need to hold them here!" A Metro Police Captain shouted back.

Quipps groans as they realize what kind of mess they got into: the Brotherhood became aware that the Enclave survived and thriving, but how? There was no way for the West Coast to know that the Enclave is here unless...

Quipps yelped in shock as a Lazer shot from a Watt 2000 nearly hit him in the head, Fortunately, it the Humvee in front of him. Quips growled to himself by being lost in thought before he fired with his Stinger.

The battle was fully underway with the initial tide turning into the Brotherhood. The Metro Police knows that they're underequipped, but they know they need to hold on.

However, the numbers of the Metros that were in Fort Independance is slowly dwindling. With more and more servicemen falling to the Brotherhood's firepower.

Quipps knows that if the rest of the Metro Police survive, they need to get out of here. "Get everyone out of here!" He shouted. "I'll buy you some time!"

"Wait what?!" The Metro Police Captain shouted in shock. "You can't face the Brotherhood alone!"

Quipps ducked his head as bullets and Lazers flew over him. "I know! But for our department to survive, you have to retreat!"

The Police Captain eyes widen slowly as he realized what Quipps was trying to do. "I don't like your tone, Sargent." He said with concern in his voice.

"I know sir, but tell my family I love them." Quipps said as he team realized what their Sargent is going to do.

"Sargent No!/ What are you doing!?/ Dont do it!" Tribeca and Squad 41 yelled to their leader.

"Sorry, everyone." Quipps told then as he nodded to the Captain, who nodded back.

"All call signs be advised: Fort Independance is lost. I repeat Fort Independance is lost to the Brotherhood. All Metro units leave the area and have the Army take care of it." The Police Captain shouted on the radio. With that, Quipps ran out of cover and into the Fort with the Brotherhood on his tale. "Come and get me you sons of Bitches!" He yelled.
